Trying new dishes or cooking styles can be difficult some times, often requiring a different type of spice profile, like curries and pickling spices, or even a new cooking apparatus like a wok or a smoker. Either way, there are quite a few reasons one could use to not eat more adventurously. I say these are simply excuses, broaden your cooking and eating horizons! and with meals by Seven Spoons there is no excuse not to try more kinds of foods at home. How easy can it get? You just grab a bag from your grocer’s freezer and cook it.
We had the pleasure in trying Quinioa Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Thai Green Curry, and Moroccan Chickpea Tagine, all of which were quite good, being good presenters of their cultural dishes and their backgrounds. Each dish made with fresh ingredients with a smell that will fill your entire home and have everyone coming down to see what that incredible smell is. You can taste the Asian heat in the biryani while the Thai green curry is spicy and sweet, the Moroccan Chickpea Tagine is smokey and hearty.
Each dish is super easy to make, most in one or two vessels in total. We usually also made a hearty salad and either rice or noodles or extra helpings of vegetables. This let us stretch out these meals into meals for 3- but you needed to add. It’s enough for two, but you will want a salad to go with it. These frozen meals are now available in the Mid-Atlantic regions at Whole Foods Markets and other locations like Target, including those in Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, D.C., and New Jersey.
Keep an eye out for the entire line a a store near you, and try a new taste experience that is brought into your kitchen rather then having to order out. Hey- normally I’d have to order this kind of food- it’s pretty cool that I can cook it at home.
Easy dishes are a necessity during the busy week. These sound great!
These look so good! I am always at a loss for dinners these days with 3 kiddos and end of summer things wrapping up always nice to have a good freezer meal on hand. Ill have to look for these when I got shopping on Friday.
These sounds yummy and convenient. As a bust Mom of 3 with all the responsibilities, I need all the short cuts I can get for dinner.
I’m so used to cooking for 5 that when it’s just 2, I’m at a loss! these would come in handy and they look so good! I’m going to have to pick some up!
I have to agree, that does take a lot of the excuse out of not eating more adventurously.
