Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of cooked oatmeal (slightly cooled)
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 banana
- ½ cup fat-free milk (or any milk you prefer)
- ¼ cup ice cubes
- 1 packet of alternaVites or alternaVites Kids
- Optional: drizzle of maple syrup and/or sprinkling of cinnamon
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in blender
- Blend until smooth and creamy
- Enjoy!
Almost every morning I have oatmeal with a banana in it for breakfast. I’ll have to try this and switch it up a little bit!
This is a really healthy smoothie that I want to try. I will have to make this for me and the kids.
I never thought of putting oatmeal in a smoothy. I imagine it makes it more filling and gives it more texture.
