Get Cooking With Pop Oh Ver

My kids love to play pretend! From princess adventures to playing school; the seem to have the most fun when they make use of their imaginations. Playing in the kitchen has always been a big hit with all of my kids. When they got to try out a few fun sets from Pop Oh Ver they declared them all to be a lot of fun for their little kitchen play sessions.

My youngest daughter is all about sandwiches, so she was more than happy to get her hands on the Pop Oh Ver plus play food set . It has all the fixings to make a soft and squishy sandwich. She has had so much fun offering her little brother sandwich after sandwich and a hotdog here and there too.

The Pots and Pans set and the Master Chef set have been intriguing to my oldest daughter, who loves to help mix things up in the kitchen. I love that the pots and pans set contains a nice assortment of kitchen necessities to keep the kids entertained, and playing with enough variety to mix things up and enough toys to go around with 4 kids! The Master Chef set is a cute addition to the kitchen. I love seeing my kids dressing up like a little chef!

The Pop Oh Ver Counter and Stove set are so much fun, and I love that they pop over a kitchen chair to create a super fun way to play, even with limited space. This would be a perfect gift idea for children that live in apartments or smaller houses this holiday season!

We loved the assortment Pop Oh Ver offers as well as how cute and squishy the play food is! We have been pleased with these toys and would happily recommend them to other families. Pop Oh Ver play food has quickly become a favorite for me personally because it is so child friendly, that all of my kids can enjoy it, even my little two year old!

On the Go with Britax B 3 G Stroller #BritaxMom

I am a mom of a toddler and I am also a daycare provider to a little one. Having two tiny movers and shakers tagging along with me on my errands and adventures was a challenge up until a few weeks ago. As I juggled a single stroller and a baby carrier, I realized we need a great double stroller or these day trips couldn’t continue.

We got to try out the Britax B 3 G stroller and it has been such a handy helper for this mom on the go. The stroller is stylish and versatile. It comes equipped with one comfy seat that has 12 seating positions for a growing child. I love the one hand fold option. It is so handy for a busy mom with multiple kids to manage. Putting the stroller away has never been easier. I know because I have years of experience.

The best thing about the Britax B 3 G Stroller is that you can add a second seat to accommodate multiple kids. This has made such a difference to my son and the child I watch in the daytime. We can get out and go with ease. The stroller has a generously sized basket underneath it to hold all of our gear, from the diaper bag to favorite toys, we can take the essentials along without having to carry everything.

We have been more than pleased with the stroller. It is easy to push and fold for transport or storage. We love that it will “grow with” our busy toddler. This is the stroller to get for one vital reason, it works with a car seat as your baby is born, but the 12 seating positions enable the stroller to work through the baby and toddler stages, and beyond if needed! The top seat can hold up to 55 pounds, meaning this stroller can handle a newborn baby and keep on going through the preschooler years.

Travel the World with Thomas & Friends

On September 7, Thomas the Tank Engine left the Island of Sodor to explore the world in his all- new movie “Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures!”  In addition to the new movie, “Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Series” made its debut on September 17th.  In honor of Thomas and his travels we decided to throw Thomas a farewell party.

About the Movie:

Thomas leaves Sodor to fulfil his dream of seeing the world. This heroic quest takes Thomas across deserts, through jungles and over dangerous mountains as he travels across five continents seeing sights he has never seen before.

Thomas & Friends is a classic that never gets old. My oldest is 11 and my youngest is 2; and all four of my children love Thomas. As a mom, I love it too. I honestly didn’t think I could love it more, but I do. It’s packed full of important lessons from never giving up to telling the truth. The new series focus on encouraging kids to take adventures and empowering girls; which, I have to admit is a huge plus for this mom of two girls. I always tell them they could do anything as long as they put their mind to it and this new series will encourage that as well.

For the big night, a couple of the kids’ friends gathered to watch the new series and movie debut. We had some yummy popcorn, fruit snacks, and fruit punch (we kept it a little light since it was just about dinner time). After the movie the kids enjoyed putting the train track together and making up the different adventures the little engines encountered.

Go Exploring with the Tiny Love Meadow Days Super Mat

With a toddler in the house, having a great play mat is a must. Little ones spend a lot of time on the floor, and exploring, so offering them a comfy and engaging place to play is important to most parents.

Lets Go Exploring

Summer is the perfect time to head out and play for the kids. I have a few really fun ideas for ways to encourage the kids to explore nature, to engage in dramatic play, and to keep their skin protected while soaking up the summer sun!

In order to go exploring you have to get their safely first. Mifold is small, compact, and you can take it anywhere! Instead of lifting the child up it brings the seat belt down. Making it safe and comfortable for them to ride. Imagine the places you can go exploring without having to have a big bulky booster seat around.

Keeping Kids Entertained with Brio Toys

Summer is here and we are heading out to visit family, go camping and have a lot of fun making memories. This summer, I have a strong desire to make our memories hands on based, instead of technology based. I think that hands on play is vital to childhood development, no matter how old your kids get.

This year, we are taking Brio along for the adventures to keep the kids happy, engaged and learning.

We have been building excitement for the way an airport works for our youngest with this set to help ease any anxieties that he may have. This is a really well made set that will bring hours of imaginative play with the kids. Ideal for kids 3 and up this set retails for about $70.

The Brio camping set has been a huge hit with my kids. They love to go camping in the woods, in the backyard, or in the living room with blanket forts, so to reenact some of their favorite experiences with a well made playset has been perfect. My kids are crazy about the canoe that neatly fits on the family car in this set. It is such a fun touch.

Summer Activities Made Easy

Summer is here and the kids are playing, swimming, hitting the ball field and completely enjoying the glory that is summer. This year, as they head out to play I am thinking of ways to keep them safe from the dangers of bug bites and fueled for the day.

My Thoughts:

These toys are perfect to have on hand. They are fun, educational, and little enough that they travel easy. I have a bag that I keep in my van for toys for Lee Lee and you can find all of these toys in that bag. It gets drug out at football games, baseball games, and when we are driving down the highway and he has had enough of being in the van. They are prefect for little hands and little minds. There bright colors, lights, and sounds keep little ones mind going and engaged. The handles and buttons are easy for little fingers to hold on to and push. In one way or other all of these toys work on some kind of fine or gross motor skill and concentrate on some kind of educational concept.
