Win a Copy of SING Special Edition on DVD or Blu-ray, out now! #SingMovie #ad #SingSquad

This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Good news! SING Special Edition is now available on Blu-ray & DVD. If you haven’t seen it, now is the perfect time. Grab a copy and have a movie night with the family!

If you don’t know much about the movie yet, SING is a wonderful, funny, heartwarming film with great music and a fantastic cast. My son loved it, and is so excited to have his own copy. He has watched it about a zillion times now, and he said it’s one of his favorites.

Pick up a copy of the SING Special Edition Blu-ray in stores for your next family movie night, it’s the perfect movie for everyone. Do you watch “American Idol” or “The Voice” or any of those? If so, you will really enjoy it. We don’t watch a lot of singing shows, but we still thought this was a fun one.

And there is another bonus of getting the DVD, even if you already saw the movie in theaters. The music-filled comedy will include over 60-minutes of bonus content and will incorporate three all-new entertaining mini movies featuring the cast from SING as well as an exclusive Tori Kelly music video and a variety of musical extras.

The Golden Globe nominee for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song, SING features more than 65 hit songs including ‘Faith,’ a brand new song by the legendary Stevie Wonder (featuring Ariana Grande), marking his first song for a major film release in 25 years.

I think your family will really enjoy this one. Pick up your copy today!

Rad, amazing, inspiring young women come from all walks of life and one of the most exciting are in the field of physics.  There is one young woman who built a working airplane at the age of 14, her name is Sabrina Pasterski and she is one to watch for.  She has already graduated MIT with a 5.0 GPA and is working on her doctorate as well as written multiple scientific papers.  Sabrina has given talks at Princeton, Harvard (including the Faculty Conference), MIT, and Forbes Summit Philadelphia. Apart from NASA showing interest in Sabrina, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon and aerospace developer and manufacturer of Blue Origin, has also offered her a job.  She is currently researching black holes, gravity and space-time, areas of study tackled by Einstein and Hawking before her.  She is one to keep an eye out for because she will be making some huge discoveries and answering some very big questions in the coming years.

The Powerpuff Girls centers on three sugar-coated superheroes, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, whose missions in life alternate between going to school, fighting crime, winning at hopscotch and saving the world before bedtime. The girls are frequently called upon by the town’s mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers. While their differences cause them to squabble and tease, their individual strengths combined always lead them to victory. They rely on teamwork, trust, and friendship to thwart evil (in the most adorable way).

About the Book

Presented by James Patterson’s new children’s imprint, this gleefully illustrated space adventure is a laugh on every page. That’s a lot of laughs!

Kelvin Klosmo isn’t just the new kid at school – he’s the new kid in the galaxy! Welcome to Sci-Fi Junior High: an inter-galactic space station with students of all shapes, sizes, smells, and… slime content. As the son of Earth’s two most famous geniuses, Kelvin isn’t just the smartest kid in the world….he’s the smartest kid in the UNIVERSE. At least, that’s what everybody at Sci-Fi Junior High thinks.
So, maybe Kelvin lied a little about being a genius to fit in. And maybe a mad scientist is about to take over the universe unless Kelvin can stop him. Maybe everyone is doomed.
Well, at least Kelvin won’t have to worry about math homework anymore.
Sci-Fi Junior High is an out-of-this-world story about friendship, accepting our differences, and the fight against evil… bunnies. Yes, evil bunnies – don’t ask.

Win $25 Gift Card, Pfizer Products, and 20th Century Fox Movies

This post has been sponsored by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and 20th Century Fox. All thoughts and reviews are my own.

Sick days stink, for adults or kids. Well, especially for kids.  Kids don’t understand really that with time, some medicine, and rest, they will feel better.  We all remember growing up the odd sick day here or there, being taken care of by Mom or Dad, and the simple things that made us feel better.  Of course, we could all use a few extra tips and tricks.  There are some tricks I have found with our little guy.

kids cold medicine

  1. Baby him- he’s sick and is acting like it.  Give them some extra attention and care during this sensitive time. Yes, they can be annoying. This too shall pass.
  2. Sleep-  even if you have to get them to lay down on the couch in front of the TV with their favorite movie, rest is key.
  3. Liquids-  get them to drink lots of water to keep their body flushing out the bad stuff and cycling through to the good stuff that will fight off the germs.

One great way to keep your sick kid resting and feeling better is with a movie and the proper medicine.  20th Century Fox has some great kid friendly and adult friendly movies for these times including (Ice Age: Collision Course, The Sandlot, and The Peanuts Movie.  When pairing this with some pediatric Pfizer products, like Advil, Robitussin, and Dimetapp, your kid will be better before you know it.  With products for just about any symptom Pfizer is there to save the day and 20th Century Fox is there to distract and make giggles the emphasis instead of sniffles.

You can also get 10% off Pfizer Pediatric products and select 20th Century Fox DVDs (Ice Age: Collision Course, The Sandlot, The Peanuts Movie) at Target valid through February 20, 2017 through Cartwheel. Haven’t tried it? Now is the perfect time.

One of you can win a $25 Target gift card, Pfizer Pediatric products [Children’s Advil® Suspension, Grape, Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion, Children’s Dimetapp® Cough & Cold] and (1) 20th Century Fox DVD (such as Ice Age: Collision Course, The Sandlot, The Peanuts Movie) by entering the RC form below. Disclosure- This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

pets movie

Have you see the movie “The Secret Life of Pets” yet? I took my son while it was still in theaters, and we both enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be another movie that you, as a parent, sat through because you love your kid- but it was super cute, and I even laughed out loud a few times. I’m all for shows and movies everyone can watch (and that go beyond simple “endurance” as a parent). If you’ve not seen this one yet- do. It’s fun. And it has a great message too, without being at all preachy.

It’s available in stores everywhere as of December 6, so you can go get your copy any time you want.  (It’s a great holiday gift, as well.) Here is a trailer of the movie, in case you haven’t seen any yet.

My son was eleted when the movie came- and he was even more excited when he saw it came with a Secret Life of Pets poster as well. He even got a hat and stickers- perfect for this holiday season. He (of course) immediately popped the movie in. We also watched it together over the weekend when daddy was around.

Neither he nor I had a favorite character, they were all fun. Max, of course, was great- but there would be no movie without Duke or Gidget, and Pops is too much. It’s hard to talk about why we love the characters without giving away the movie- best just to watch it. Another reason to get a copy of the movie is that The Secret Life of Pets DVD or Blue Ray comes with 3 Mini Movies as well as features nearly an hour of bonus content, including three hilarious mini-movies: the all-new Norman Television and Weenie PLUS Mower Minions which debuted in theaters.

pet stickers

The main premise of the movie is “Ever wonder what your pets do when you’re not home?” Find out what these pets are up to when their owners head out. The same people who created Despicable Me made this one, so you know it will be funny.

pic8

One of the reasons the movie was so funny? The all-star voice cast had to have a hand in it, I think.  This includes Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Coogan, and Albert Brooks.

We received the Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack Target Exclusive featuring 4 pages of decals. The combo pack comes with the Blu-ray,  DVD, and a Digital copy. Plus, you can decorate your room, car, office, laptop, or wall with 4 pages of decals featuring main characters and their funny personalities.

One of you can win a copy of your own- feel free to enter using the RC form below. Good luck! Ends Dec. 30, 2016.

We recently sat down for a family night in, and gave the movie a watch. My son had been wanting to see it. He loved it, and it was not as bad as I thought it would be (look, as an adult, not every kid movie is up my alley, ok? Let’s just be honest.) There were parts I was amused by, and even though it was coney, it was cute. He has watched it quite a few times. He has watched the movie a few times now- mostly with our pets.

nine lives movie

While the movie didn’t get the best reviews with critics, I have to tell you it was better then I thought it was be. It wasn’t one of those “painful to watch” kid movies. My son really enjoyed it, and your kids will as well, if they are cat lovers. It was silly, it was schtick-y, it has all that physical humor kids like- it was cute.

pic6

The cats liked it as well- but how couldn’t she, right? They also loved all the cat goodies that 9 Lives sent for them to play with- so they can “get into the movie” themselves.

cat

Too bad the bowls didn’t say “Mr. Fuzzypants” like the kitty in the movie  🙂 My son loved that name. See, the cheese- factor goes over super well with the kiddos, LOL.
