There is a new book out, about a topic that seems to be newly OK to talk about- women who don’t really want kids, and couples who really don’t want to, or shouldn’t be, parents. For a long time, women and couples who didn’t want kids were made to feel like something was wrong with them or her, that they were selfish or wrong in some way. This book explores what happens when a couple is suddenly thrust into parenting an older child.

Beautiful and historic Madison, Georgia will be the place for fine art lovers this fall, as The Cotton South Fine Arts Festival makes its debut Sept. 28-29.
The show will bring the works of more than 120 artists to the downtown area, The Cotton South Fine Arts Festival will be the first of its kind in the Lake Country, says Tim Reilly, festival organizer. Reilly has sought out and invited niche artists whose medium spans oil, pastels, watercolor, sculpture, glass, 2-D and 3-D mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, photography and metalwork. In all, 23 different categories of work will be featured at the festival.
Nationally and regionally renowned artists like Anne London, Jean Yao, Frank Strunk III and Thomas Lott will be coming to Madison for the first time, and Reilly is rolling out the red carpet in anticipation of a great show of gallery-quality work.
Saving Mr Banks is the story about the creation of Mary Poppins. The film follows the drama involved in the process of bringing the story Mary Poppins to the big screen. Some of the characters in the movie include Walt Disney played by Tom Hanks and PL Travers played by Emma Thompson. This is going to be one to keep an eye out for because with Tom Hanks attached it has potential.
