Have you ever had a moment while looking through a photo album or scrapbook where you found yourself
looking at a picture and asking, “Where have you been?” and the person that you’re talking to is you? It
seems like light years ago since you had time to play the adult version of “dress up” while getting ready for
a date or party, complete with a full face of make-up. And while you’re certainly glad to be secure enough
in yourself to not feel like you need cosmetics before being suitable for public viewing, it’s still nice to use
them to do just what they were created for: enhance some of your best features.

But now that you’re a mom, you just don’t have the same kind of time that you used to and so you’re not
sure how you can cut a 30-minute make-up face down to five or 10 minutes without it looking like your
child painted your face while you were catching a quick cat nap.

Get a foundation stick. If you don’t have time to do anything else, at least make sure that your skin looks
smooth and even. A great way to do that is by purchasing some foundation that comes in a convenient
stick. Simply draw a line across your forehead, cheeks and chin and disperse it throughout the rest of your

inexpensive way to soothe any puffiness that may have occurred.

Blush it up. You’re probably thinking that you already look fluster from all of the errands that you find
yourself running throughout the day and so blush isn’t necessary. On almost any face, blush can brighten

While there are no perfect solutions for this situation, there are some strategies you can utilize to keep your family afloat

File for unemployment benefits. Most people who previously had a full time job can register for unemployment and receive some sort of government assistance. Even if you’ve been out of work for a while, it’s worth looking into what sort of benefits are available.
