- Sun Exposure
If possible, it is advised that exposure to the sun is limited between the hours of 10am and 2pm, when the sun is at its highest. UV rays at their strongest between this time, and therefore this can be the most harmful time for your children to out in the sun. - Sun Cream
Sun cream is a must when it comes to your children, even if the sun is hidden away. Always use a high protector sun cream for your children, 50+ is the recommended factor by researches. When purchasing your suncream, products designed especially for kids are generally best, as they generally have a very high factor and are gentle on the skin.
- Suncream Application
To ensure maximum protection from your suncream, remember to apply 15 to 30 minutes before heading out in the sun, giving the cream time to absorb into to the skin. Suncream also needs to be reapplied every 2 hours and after swimming or sweating.
