This is my third week on Nutrisystem, and I am starting to get the hang of it. The frozen foods, especially for lunch, are really helping out- they are pretty good, and make it less painful to be on a diet πŸ™‚

I am sticking with breakfast and dessert being very good on the whole, with some things I would gladly eat even if I was not dieting. Yesterday, I did a weigh-in, earlier then my scheduled weekly time- and it said I was up 3 pounds. I was SHOCKED to say the least- I didn’t cheat, not once- and I am very active. I have been dieting since Jan, and this was the first time I have seen a gain, so I was upset and called a Nutrisystem counselor.

She was very sweet, and helpful- and told me this could have been as simple as the fact that I weighed myself at the END of the day (duh, me!) or that I drank a lot a lot of water that particular day- or even just a natural fluctuation of my body at that moment. I’m not happy- but considering that I had lost over 14 Lbs in the first two weeks, I am going to assume that when I weigh myself on Saturday, it will even out. Or I might cry, LOL.

It’s really great that there are counselors you can talk to at nearly every hour of the day with your questions about Nutrisystem- I have called them quite a few times! What can I say, I am an annoying girl πŸ˜›

My first NutriBear!

Two things that I am really enjoying, are the chocolate bars for dessert, and the double chocolate muffins at breakfast. Yes, you do see a theme there! But, really, I don’t feel too, too deprived when I can still have my chocolate.
OK, so that is this week- wish me luck for Saturday, LOL, and next week I will let you know how it went πŸ™‚
Have a good one!

  1. Silly girl… I thought everyone knew not to weigh themself at the end of the day, it’s when you weigh the most. I bet if you do it first thing in the morning before your shower you’ll be 5lbs less πŸ™‚

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I do have a follow button it’s between my about me and blog archive. Weird that it didn’t show up when you were there? Strange.

Keep up the good work on the weight loss! I am trying my hardest to find motivation to lose the last 30lbs of prego weight (I gained a lot πŸ™ ) but keep losing motivation or sabatoging myself. So annoying. I know once I am past the first 10lbs lost I will be okay. I will get there! Just like you will. Don’t worry about the gain. I found in the past that even if I weighed myself a day early when my scheduled weigh in came I had lost πŸ™‚

  3. 14 pounds? Wow, you are doing great. Takes willpower! Keep up the good work.

  4. I know how you feel when you gain instead of loose and I don’t think I’d be real dependent on the scale as long as I knew I was sticking to the diet and exercise. It probably is water weight and it will begone the next time you weigh in.
When I weigh myself my husband says to take off 3 pounds. When he weighs himself, he takes off 10. I’m thinking that denial he has going for himself is why he gets to take more off than me.
    Your doing great.

  5. well you can’t win them all

  6. Hang in there. I always weigh myself first thing in the morning, bare naked LOL. Never know how much pj’s might weigh.

  7. hope your weigh in tomorrow is a better one…

  8. Awesome Sam keep up the good work. Don’t worry about the 3lbs. I’m sure they will be gone tomorrow πŸ˜‰

  9. Yea! Good job, Sam! I wouldn’t worry about the 3 pounds. You are doing so well. πŸ™‚

  10. Good luck Sam! I know you can do it πŸ˜€ I am down 1 lb. this week myself but that is better than the last few weeks where I seem to have been on a plateau. Let us know what happens tomorrow πŸ˜€

  11. Good job on keeping up with it! Don’t worry about the scale every week, infact toss the thing away! I know it puts alot of pressure on people as well as if their numbers aren’t moving they give up.
    Keep it up! Good job!!!
