Socks.
What better way to start your day then with a warm pair of awesome socks? The answer- nada, except maybe warm socks and a good breakfast. 😉
A good pair of socks can change your day, well not only your day- but your health and attitude as well. I had the pleasure of giving the new Smartwool Outdoor light crew socks a try from Appalachian Outdoors. These socks are warm, supportive and a very nice way to keep your feet protected from the every wear and tear they normally receive from running, hiking, biking, or walking for that matter. Yes, and chasing kids 😛

The color I received was oatmeal, and they are super comfy. I had to fold them down, they hurt my leg if I left them up- too tight. But folded down, no problems, and they were super comfy. Sometimes comfort is more important then fashion, especially when you are running about. At $19.95/ pair these are the perfect fit for those new hiking boots or running shoes. A little pricey- but if you are big into the outdoors, you know a good pair of socks can be SO worth it. I like to run, and they like to run with me 🙂

I would say that though most would think 19.95 was expensive for a sock it is not expensive if you consider you are buying warmth and comfort. Frost bit feet are a lot more expensive than 19.95
Also a great gift idea for the holidays.
I live in the middle of Maine so I am always wearing socks. Will have to buy a pair…. or two!

I have a pair of these socks and I love them. They’re comfortable and keep me warm.
I think I have told you before what a freak I am when it comes to socks and can NOT be barefoot! These just look comfortable
