Us ladies, we are all about the shoes! So when I got the chance to do a late night shopping trip for some Jambu Shoes, I was all about it πŸ™‚

Jambu makes the cutest summer shoes- so I couldn’t wait to see what they had for winter. I love, love, love their summer shoes, so I had really high hopes! I was not disappointed.
Jambu has a bunch of options, including a Vegan Shoe Line- how very inspiring! Gotta love it when brands are eco-conscious.

I so needed new winter shoes, so this came at a good time for me! Most of my shoes were swept away with Hurricane Irene, so I was excited to try to replace a pair, LOL. I HATE winter, as most of you know, and I am always, always cold. Especially my feet! UGH! Some new Jambu shoes are just what the doctor ordered.

I had something soft and warm in mind when looking for new winter shoes, and there were plenty of options to choose from when I checked them out on line. However- when I got to the stores, there was nothing to be found. First I tried Moo Shoes, at 78 Orchard Street New York, NY 10002 USA, known for their vegan shoes. However, they were closed when I got there, and were still not opened when I arrived again this morning! Bummer.

Onto Tip Top Shoes, who were open- but had no Jambu shoes left at all- save one pair of clogs- and not even in my size πŸ™ They had lots on sale, and the staff was really nice and friendly, and tried to help me find something else- but my heart was set on Jambu shoes.

There they are- second row down, second from the right!! The last pair in the store, LOL

Last but not least, was Harry’s Shoes on 83rd Street New York, NY 10024. This was the biggest bummer yet- they had no Jambu shoes at all- and in fact, I was told they stopped carrying the brand altogether. Again, tons of sales going on though!

While my shopping quest for adorable Jambu shoes was a bust, I know I can order them online! And at least my son got his emergency juice boxes, LOL- there was a health and beauty store across from Tip Top- daddy forgot his sippy- uh oh!!!! (Mommy should have checked, ooops!) $3.99 for juice boxes? BLAH!

You can check out the rest of my shopping photos here! Have a fun day!

Not that I’m by any means down playing your bad luck in not finding the shoes you wanted but YAY for online shoe shopping…I’m already on my way πŸ™‚

  5. My daughter would kill (not literally) to be in your shoes and enjoy a shopping trip to NYC. She wouldn’t have cared what kind of shoes she had to buy.

  6. There is nothing more disappointing then having an idea of what you want and the money buy it with and no item to buy!
I loved looking at your shoes you didn’t buy though and good luck on line shopping and finding what you want.

  7. And that is why I love to shop online..lol However if you have to shop a NYC shopping trip is always the best. Hope you find the perfect pair. At least you got to browse some good sales πŸ™‚
