Free Country Winter Coat

 There is a chill to the air, frost on the ground and I know that one day soon I will be greeted by a swirl of snowflakes dancing through the air. With the approach of winter it is time to start considering a winter coat that will keep you warm and looking great. The Women’s Plus Size Snowhaven Power Down Jacket by Free Country is no exception. This coat is machine washable, water and wind resistant, and features a hand gaiter to keep your digits warm and your hands free. I like to stay warm, but I don’t want to wear a jacket that is restricting and I don’t want to feel like the little brother in a Christmas Story when I put my coat on. The Women’s Plus Size Snowhaven Power Down Jacket is perfect for me. I love that it is filled with natural down feathers to keep me toasty without adding bulk. 


The jacket is the perfect length of 32.5″, it extends past the waist, which offers me a sleek look without adding the appearance of extra pounds to my waist, while keeping me warmer than any winter coat that I have worn in the past. This coat features a two way zipper to offer extra leg room when zipped from bottom to top, which is really handy for those times that need the leg room but don’t want to remove your coat.

The coat features plenty of pockets,which is an added bonus. There is a phone pocket, a music pocket and an interior basket pocket making it great for carrying all of the essentials. The mesh cargo pockets make finding your valuables as simple as can be. I was slightly concerned about the fur trimmed hood, as I envisioned the fur looking rumpled, but I discovered that all you have to do is give the coat a shake and the fur trim will bounce back to looking perfect.

This is a great coat that is available in black and fossil.
