Insurance – Get Covered America

With Health Insurance in the news almost every night, why not brush up on your current events and find out what all this talk is about? First up there are a few key points, everyone should have health insurance, enrolling is fast and easy, no one can be denied.

So how does this new health insurance system work? Well first of all check out GetCoveredAmerica.org for details.  In four simple steps most your questions will be answered.

Step 1) Calculate – Calculate your Cost.  90% of applicants can received financial assistance and this step helps you figure out this all important question.

Step 2) Questions – Frequently Asked Questions, and answers of course.  All those wonderful questions you have sitting at the tip of your tongue and the back of your mind are answered here.

Step 3) Local Help – FAQ’s are great and incredibly helpful but when it comes to your health you need to be 100% confident in what you are doing and the best way to figure out an answer is with some help.  start out with a zip code and end up with phone numbers, web sites, and physical address for trained individuals who will help.

Step 4) Sign Up – sign up get in and the marketplace is your oyster.

Despite the now accessible and affordable healthcare, 81% of people  do not realize that the open enrollment period ends this month, on March 31. After this period closes, people will incur fees for being uninsured. Let’s avoid that! With 1 in 6 Americans not having health insurance, it’s time to spread the word and help people get covered.

A great resource is the Get Covered America website. Here, people can find local help to get enrolled, calculators to estimate what coverage may cost, as well as answers to any questions one might have about the process.
