For the past three weeks, I have been participating in the Aveeno Daily Challenge. That means I have been using the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion and taking time for me every day, because a better me is a better mom as well. I made sure I took time out of each day to either meditate (which I need to get better at, I can’t stay still and “calm” long at this point, but I’m trying!) or took a walk by myself every day. It does help to take just a few minutes for yourself- as a woman and a mother, I think we all feel guilty on even a second we spend on ourselves, but it’s needed. We are better for ourselves, our families, and our work as well for it.
I saw these at the local CVS this week, and I picked up some of the stress relief one. I have not tried it yet, because want to finish the one I have open already, but it smelled very good in the store.
I use lotion daily, a lot, actually. I’ve never used Aveeno for me, though, just for my son. Taking the time not only for my skin and outward appearance but also for my inner calm daily has been a nice chance- one that I’m glad I was asked to take, or I never would have.

I am a huge fan of the Aveeno Lotions. We are big users in this family 🙂 your challenge sounds very interesting, I find that it can be very hard for me to actually stop and take time for myself throughout the day.
Aveeno is the lotion i reach for whenever i get one of those harsh scratchy spots.
i would try that, my skin is very rough this time of year
