It can be hard to find the perfect piece of jewelry, one that will go with just about any outfit and matches with many things easily. Statement pieces are one thing- they are big and bold, and go with just a few outfits, but some people like to have a special something they can wear every day.
One necklace that can fit the bill is from the Open Hearts collection by Jane Seymour, from Kay Jewelers. I know Jane Seymour best from the late 90’s show “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” that I loved. I know, but it was the 90’s. And it was a good show, shut your faces. I’m not the only one, there were 2 movies made after the show was off the air- take that, Sex and the City! Yeah, that’s right. OK, moving on. Back to the subject at hand.
Any meow. The collection includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, charms, pendants, earrings, and more. It was created by Jane Seymour herself, and discovered by Kay accidentally. Want to know more? Mmmmk, never say I didn’t tell you anything good.
“The Open Heart Philosophy: This philosophy was passed to Jane by her mom who believed that if we keep an open heart, love will find its way in. Jane carried this philosophy with her throughout trying times in her life. The philosophy eventually translated to Jane’s paintings and the iconic Open Heart symbol was born. From there, Jane had the first Open Heart necklace made for herself to wear and enjoy. Her personal philosophy and design made its way to the public after she was seated (coincidentally!) next to Kay Jewelers execs at an awards dinner. They noticed her necklace, asked who made it and the rest is history! The Open Heart Waves Collection is an extension of the Open Heart philosophy. It represents the idea that life is life a wave – building, cresting and releasing – allowing for continuous growth and revival.”
Ms. Seymour really believes her philosophy, it’s important to her. Not only is it beautiful jewelry, but it has a beautiful message. What’s not to love? Think about that when you shop for Mother’s Day (or feel free to copy the URL of this post and email it to your husband- he’ll get the message. GET THE MESSAGE? You can shop here for more Open Hearts jewelery as well. Get it? SHOP HERE, HUSBAND! (See? I got your back, Jack.) Now that we have that settled 😉 This really is pretty stuff, and you have a ton of options. The thought behind it counts as well, which any woman will tell you. I’ll be checking in with you soon after a G+ hangout with Jane later this month. Have fun shopping!
This year I’ve sent out on a quest to find myself great necklaces and earrings. Thanks for making this suggestion; I plan on checking them out.
