BOB Revolution Pro Duallie – Wonderful Stroller

I absolutely love to be outside and on the move. Each day my children spend a great deal of time playing outdoors, as well as running around with me. I have always been on the lookout for the ideal stroller, and was absolutely amazed at all the wonderful features that I found with the BOB Revolution Pro Duallie Stroller.

About BOB:

In 1994, Roger Malinowski, a bicycle industry maven, met Phillip Novotny, an airline mechanic, in the California town of San Luis Obispo. Phillip had turned a decrepit beach cruiser bike into a versatile, lightweight, single track bike trailer. He called it the YAK and was rolling them out of a machine shop on a small scale. Roger knew a great idea when he saw one and together, they took Phillip’s invention and built a booming business.

BOB was originally named Beast of Burden, but was eventually shortened to BOB.

BOB was first a great bike trailer that was completely amazing. However, Roger and Phillip soon began to start families of their own. They were inspired to design and build a superior jogging stroller that would be held to the same high standards as their trailers. The initial result was the BOB Sport Utility Stroller, complete with aptented suspension system, tough polymer wheels, easy-fold frame, a reclining, padded seat and several other features no one had ever put on a stroller before. They truly “wanted the best of a bunch of worlds”, said Roger. “A lightweight, high-quality stroller that you could still take running, hiking, or off-road and also fold up easily and compactly. The fact we could put all of these elements in one stroller is what really attracted people to it.”

Shortly after this stroller hit the market people started asking about a two-seat stroller, which led to the introduction of the Duallie in 2001.

Many changes have happened over the years which has left BOB one of the top strollers on the market in our country today.

My Thoughts:

I have been completely impressed with this wonderful stroller. I actually live in town, but my husband is a farmer. I find myself taking the stroller out when he is working at the farm to go for walks/jogs with the girls, as well as when we take meals out to the field. I have been so impressed at how well this stroller works on all terrains.

Some of my favorite features are:

• Comfortable Seats-My girls love to ride in this stroller
• Adjustable Canopy-The girls can always block out the sun when we are out and about.
• Comfortable Ride- With the great suspension and option to lock the wheel, my girls absolutely love to ride no matter where we are at.
• Adjustable Handlebar-My husband and I have a foot difference in heights, and we can both adjust this accordingly so that we are comfortable. (see pictures)
• The Easy way to collapse- I can easily fold this up quickly while keeping an eye on my girls.
• The Viewing Window-I really enjoy that I can see my girls easily with the great window, very convenient.
• The Brakes-I really like having the hand brake as well as the wonderful foot brake. I know that the stroller won’t move anywhere once it is locked in the right position.
• Adjustable Seats-My girls can adjust when they want to take naps as well as when they want to look around.
• Easy to push-No matter what terrain that I take this stroller on, I am completely impressed. My girls don’t weigh too much, but without the right stroller it sure is hard to push. With the BOB stroller I am incredibly impressed at how easily I can push. I seriously think that I could sit in the stroller and my 4 year old could probably push it easily!

As you can tell I have many wonderful things to say about this awesome stroller. I truly don’t know how I survived without it for the last 4 years that I have had children. It folds up extremely easy as well as relatively small. I know that even though my girls are growing fast, I will be using this stroller for many years in the future.
