Piggy Paint Safe Nail Polish for Kids

My girls absolutely love to have their finger nails painted. I don’t mind painting there nails, especially because they really love it. I do however not really feel comfortable using nail polishes on them that have a great deal of chemicals in them. I was very impressed when I came across Piggy Paint.

About Piggy Paint:

Melanie Hurley is the Founder of Piggy Paint. She always hated the thought of her children putting their hands in their mouths after she painted their nails with traditional kid polishes. The ingestion of chemicals worried her as well as the smell of painting all those nails. One day they were painting nails and her daughter dropped some paint onto a foam plate. The polish quickly bubbled up and then ate through the plate.

DIY Door Decoration

Here is another craft that I have been wanting to do for quite awhile. I have seen several similar door decorations and have always wanted to have one. Somehow no matter how many times I went to Hobby Lobby and how many different ones I went to, they never had an ‘F’. I could hardly contain myself from doing a little dance when I finally found my ‘F’.

This project is probably one of the easiest crafts that I have ever seen or made myself.

Supplies Needed:

Large Initial Letter
Spray Paint in any color of your choice
Wide Ribbon (I am a fan of the burlap ribbons)
Hot Glue Gun
Twine to use to hang the letter
Staple Gun

Wuzzits Kids’ Game

We are all about playing fun games in this family. We’re not completely consistent about having weekly game nights, but we have them at least every week. We were very excited to add this awesome game to our game night collection. Wuzzits is a great games for our kids and my husband and I enjoy playing it as well.

DIY Yarn Wreath

I absolutely love to craft, but I will admit that with all on my plate right now, I find that I really don’t have time to do all the crafts that I have found on the internet and pinterest 🙂 . However, I must admit that whenI find something that looks cute, simple, and somewhat quick I’m all over it.

A few weeks ago myself and a friend decided that we were going to have a craft weekend for some fall crafts. Stay tuned for DIY Instructions for all of the projects we did that weekend. The first that I want to share with you is My Yarn Wreath.

Supplies:

Foam Wreath (any shape/style/size you prefer)
