Nuk and Gerber Prize Pack Giveaway

Today we are looking at Gerber/Nuk’s new line of fun and funky tableware and baby designs.

First up is Gerber’s new Active Snacker. This little container is dishwasher safe, has a hard lid to keep snacks inside when packing things up and a soft flexible lid to keep snacks in and give little hands the ability to go in grab a snack and snack and come out again.

After snack time comes dinner! If your little ones are now a bit bigger, and looking to use forks and spoons to eat with, these are great. The problem with most utensils are that some children keep jamming the utensils down their throat. Gerber has a solution for this, a built in choke blocker. This little barrier on their forks and spoons keep little ones from putting them too far into their mouths, perfect for little ones trying to feed themselves. Thermos Review and Giveaway

Check out the new Thermos’s. No longer are they just plastic containers. They are now, BPA free aluminum interior and exterior plus they come in all kinds of cool designs like Clone Wars and Barbie. All the designs are bright and vibrant, lots of fun for the little ones.

In regard to the container itself. These will keep things cold or hot for up to 12 hours or longer. They work really well and hit the 12 hour mark, no problem. When packing hot liquids or foods, warm up the container with some hot water. This will raise or lower the Thermos’ standing temperature and definitely keeps things hot or cold longer.

It is best described as the softest most blanket like poncho you have ever touched, with a small built in pillow in the back of it. We know whole grain is important to you, and the Dietary Guidelines recommend choosing products with a whole grain listed as the first ingredient. Now every cereal with the white check has more whole grain than any other single ingredient with the same great taste. You will see “whole grain” as a part of the first ingredient on the ingredient list, indicating that whole grain is the first and most prevalent ingredient.

According to Dr. Travis Stork, emergency room physician and host of “The Doctors,” identifying whole grain products can be challenging. Shoppers can look for nutritional cues on the front of the box, but they need to read the ingredient list to know if they are getting enough whole grain. Ingredient lists detail ingredients in order of prevalence, and if the words “whole grain” are followed by a grain like wheat or oats, it means the food contains more whole grain than any other single ingredient. Here’s how to determine if your cereals have whole grain as a first ingredient:

The GK Titanium flat iron is awesome- according to my mom. The titanium plates are so smooth and glide over your hair no problems. The titanium plates are different than the average flat iron, which gives you more control and makes it easier to use in her opinion. My mom hates how frizzy and kinky her hair is, and says that this makes her hair silky and smooth and was very easy to use. GK has superior heat output, and is super convenient and not as time consuming as many other flat irons. Also- one swipe, and your hair is how you want it to look- you don’t need to keep going over and over like some other irons. (Hence that whole not time consuming thing.)
