I do my best to keep myself and my kids as eco-friendly as possible. One way I try to do this is to use as many re-useable products as I can for packing our lunches and breakfasts, and to make sure they are eco-friendly, as well. One company I have recently discovered is called “Life Without Plastic”. I can’t even imagine a life without plastics, LOL, but it’s a good dream to have! Life Without Plastic has a simple mission–

I love the idea. I love the products! I was sent this bento box to review, and we all have tried it at one point.

Dad has taken it most of all, I guess he feels like it is manly because it is stainless steel, LOL. It is a good size for a sandwich, or really anything you want to put in there! Little used it for 2 hard boiled eggs, I used it for turkey slices, dad uses it mostly for sandwiches. (What can I say, no imagination, that guy!) Kamikaze was the last one to test it, because she loses everything and/or breaks everything. I labeled the junk out of the bento box, wished it well, and sent it on it’s way, lol.  Hearthsong, maker of adorable and affordable children’s products, has sent us these adorable “On the Go Animals” for review.  We chose “puppy”, because as you know, Little is obsessed!  He literally shook when he opened the box, he was so excited!  I love them because they are easy to take along with us anywhere.  Little loves them for that reason, as well as because- well, he loves them!
They are soft, cute, and easy to store.  And did I mention affordable?

The kids at the Pre-K loved them as well.
Little was a bit greedy with them at first (he is only 3!) but after a few minutes he was sharing nicely.  Hey, it’s hard to share something that cute!

As you can see, they are a hit!

 I can say that I would buy this toy in an instant.  I think they are cute, fun to give and receive, affordable, and EASY to care for, keep track of, and carry along (think show and tell, trips to grandma’s, vacation, etc).

 Earth Friendly Toys with a mission! Helping children learn to love the earth and grow their imagination while helping build the desire to learn and explore.  Whew, there is a lot if expectations placed on ImagiPLAY‘s toys!  (good thing they deliver!)
These eco-friendly toys are also Fair Trade!  Yay for ImagiPLAY!! I love companies that care!  Ok, those are things that I love.  Does Little Man or his Pre-K friends understand how awesome all that is? No, not so much.  (But he will someday, and the world thanks you for taking care of it!)  What they loved was how super cute and awesome the toys are!  We were sent the playset A Day On The Farm to review- how awesome! 

The kids went bananas!  We brought it out to dinner with us, because it came as we were going out the door.  There was NO WAY Little was going to be leaving without it!  So, it came along…It was a good way to keep him quiet at dinner!  I didn’t take out all the pieces there, but you can see that he was absorbed, LOL.

We also brought it to the Pre-School.  What a great place to see what the kids really think of something!  Can I tell you, they about lost their minds!  I brought it out for my early AM kids first, and they kept it out for the whole morning.  That is rare in the Pre-K.  Things rarely keep attention spans longer then 20 minutes. 

They all spent time playing with it….

and one of the kids brought over a few extra animals (so everyone could play). 

They had so much fun with it! 
We brought it back every day that week.  We will bring it back for “Farm Animals Week” as well  🙂

What a cute and fun giveaway I have for you today! 
Aurora, as you know, has some of the most adorable (and affordable!) stuffed toys out there.  We were sent Cheeky Charlie and Carmen as well as a Fancy Pals Pet Carrier. 
(OK-OK, I confess!!!  I totally hid the Cheeky Charlie and Carmen for Christmas, but I did give Kamikaze the Fancy Pals Pet Carrier.  She FLIPPED out, and started screeching, lol.  Girls.  (hehe)

The kids at the PreSchool also really liked it.  (We “borrowed it” while she was at school one day!)  Little wanted nothing to do with the purse aspect, but I brought it along and the girls loved it.  And everyone loved the cutie puppy! 
Cheeky Charlie and Carmen are so adorable, and you know how much Little LOVES monkeys- so they can each have one for Christmas!

 Rock ‘N Learn– What a fun way to learn!  These DVDs are full of learning and  music, which makes the kids want to pay attention, lol…and this is NOT an easy task!
We were sent “Making Money & Making Sense!”  
My kids tried it out, Little Man is a bit young for it, but Kamikaze really enjoyed it.  I also brought it to the Pre-School, and the kids really liked it.  My REALLY little kids had to go to a “special” art project after about 10 minutes with the aide, but this DVD is not aimed at the under 3 group!  LOL.
