A Lucky Horse Shoe Wall Art- Review and Giveaway

OK, the first thing I have to say is WOW- this company was started by a 14 year old girl who wanted to help out and save money for college, as well.
I think you know that we just re-did Little Man’s room, and the theme is Wild Animals/Jungle.  He SO loves that Safari Bed, lol.  When we saw the Cute Monkey and Bird decal, I knew it was just perfect for his room!
We put it over the spot reserved for his Toy Box, the one thing we still need for his room.
How adorable is it?

It goes so well with the rest of the room, and it retails for only $16.00!
Here is a bit more info on the Decals- (by the way, they sent us a few little brown birds, and a butterfly as a fun surprise!)

This cute monkey and bird on a tree branch measures approx. 22 inches X 12 inches as shown in the ad. The monkey and bird are separate, so you can arrange them as you like. You can choose the color of the branch, monkey, and bird. Please use the contact seller tab with your choices upon checkout.

POM Wonderful Juice Review and coupon

Why is POM Wonderful juice so good?  Well for one it is a little sour and sweet, not syrupy-sweet, just refreshing.  It is also a perfect thirst quencher when you need something different yet not insanely weird. POM is pomegranate juice.  It is naturally sweet and sour at the same time.  Is great by itself and is even healthy and good for you.  POM Wonderful full of good stuff- like anti-oxidants and vitamin C.  The kids really like it too.  The little guy loves goes nuts for POM (he calls it Pom Pom juice).  He also loves fresh pomegranate- but that is impossible to get year round.    I buy him POM Wonderful the 10 months of the year when I can’t get pomegranates  🙂  The only real drawback is it can be a little pricey.
Another great characteristic of it is it mixes great with vodka, which Daddy is making me put in “for the grown-ups”.   🙂   He insists this is vital information for you to have, and that I as a non-drinker do not know what I am missing.
By the way- they are a very “green” company, and here are a few ways that they work to make the world a better place!
POM Wonderful is a global brand committed to innovation and wellness. We grow and market pomegranates and pomegranate-based products that are healthy, honest and essential to the well-being of humankind.
Ours is the only company that grows, harvests, processes and ships our own pomegranates. Plus, we’re the only pomegranate company that has provided over $34M in funding to support scientific research on Wonderful variety pomegranate products at top institutions around the globe.
POM Wonderful’s commitment to wellness also means caring about the well-being of our planet. Our sustainable business practices include:
• Using the latest drip-irrigation technologies in our orchards to minimize use of one of California’s scarcest resources – water.
• Making productive use of every single part of the pomegranate. What’s left over is used as cattle feed – no landfills for us!
• Manufacturing our bottles right next to our filling plant, which means no wasteful transportation of air-filled bottles.
• Employing an intelligent routing system to ensure our products travel the fewest miles possible to reach store shelves.

Make sure you head on over and print out your coupon before buying your bottles! Yay for saving  🙂
Don’t forget to follow POM Wonderful on Twitter and Facebook as well and keep up with the latest POM news!

Lancaster- More Fun at the DoubleTree!

Hello and Happy Saturday!
We just got back from Lancaster, PA, and we had so much fun.  There was so much to see and do, and we can’t wait to go back in a few months and see what summer looks like!  🙂
While at the Double Tree Lancaster, a Hilton Hotel, there was a lot to see and do without even having to leave the campus.  The kids had a blast in the mini-water park that they had right inside the hotel, and of course there was a “grown up” pool as well.  They even had a hot tub!  We hopped into it for a second, but, no kids allowed, so, it was literally a second.  So, a bummed mommy- because I sure would have liked to stay in there for awhile!  🙂

There is a 3 hour bus tour that every guest gets to take.  We were able to go on a 90 minute tour, since we were only there for one night.  We were able to get a taste of some of the things to see and do (and eat!) in the area.  We got a great tour, some fun information and insights to the people and history of the area, as well as stopped to try out a few of the local delicacies  🙂
(Think home churned ice cream, hand rolled hot pretzels, and BBQ chicken to name a few!)
There is a lot to see and do in the area as well- Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Park are both local, and The Crayola Factory is also nearby  🙂  There is outlet shopping, fun food finds, Amish and Mennonite villages and tours- so much to see and do while staying at the Double Tree Lancaster, right in the center of it all!

I will be posting more about our trip all week- In the meantime- check out the website  🙂  Lancaster is a great place to go for a fun filled family vacation, and you won’t find a nicer place to stay then the Double Tree Lancaster!
Have a great night, and get some rest ladies!  🙂

DoubleTree Resort, PA

We are currently at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton in Lancaster, PA.  If you follow my Tweets or are my friend on FourSquare, you have seen all the fun stuff we have been up to today!  (and if you aren’t- why not? LOL- link up with me so we can be social together 🙂
We have been busy travelers today!
I can’t wait to tell you more, but I need to go, go, go now!  LOL- dumb blogger, why did you pick this weekend to go down?  Sigh.  At least it’s back now!

This place is beautiful- the grounds are lovely and well kept, the hotel itself is spotless, and the attractions in the area can’t be beat.  Oh, and did I mention they have their own indoor children’s waterpark?   Hmmm…that will get you thinking!  🙂
Be back with more later.  HUGS, and it’s good to be back.  Missed you guys!

Playskool Alphie Data Bots – Maestro-Bot and Deci Bot

Playskool’s Alphie Bots are such cute, cute little buddies!  Everyone should have a friend this cute.
Maestro-Bot is great for the music lover, and has been a fast favorite of my son and his friends at the Pre-School.
He is not only a great buddy for your kiddo, but will help them learn as well  🙂  Your child will be learning while playing (shhh! don’t tell them!) all about music.
“This little robot figure has all kinds of musical fun to share! Your child will use the MAESTRO-BOT figure’s colorful keys to match the notes and play Three Blind Mice, Twinkle, Twinkle or Mary Had a Little Lamb. This on-the-go buddy even features three modes of fun: Explore Mode, Find It Mode and Song Mode so that your little one can discover the joy of music in three different ways! Let the fun begin! Figure comes with instructions. Includes 3 “AAA” batteries. Ages 3 and up. “

My son (age 3) just adored it!  The kids at the Pre-K can’t get enough, Maestro Bot and his “brother”, Deci Bot come to the school at least twice a week since we got them.  Deci Bot, Maestro’s brother (because they have the same last name of “Bot”, you see- the kids informed me of this  🙂 )  teaches the kids counting and numbers.  He adds and subtracts as well and he uses his colorful fingers to illustrate his words.
“This little robot figure has all kinds of counting fun to share! Your child will use the DECI-BOT figure’s cool keys to practice counting and count along as this pal’s fingers light up. This on-the-go buddy even features two modes of fun: Explore Mode and Find It Mode so that your little one can discover the joy of numbers in two different ways! Let the fun begin!

Figure comes with instructions.
Includes 3 “AAA” batteries.
Ages 3 and up.”

These little robots are really cute, super fun, and priced right.  If you can find a fun educational toy that kids actually LIKE that is priced for around $20, that’s a good deal in my book.  We bought Deci Bot for one of the kid’s  birthday’s last weekend (Deci was his favorite).  Now there is another “Bot” family member coming to the school every once in a while, LOL.
Happy robo-learning  🙂
