A few days ago, we were given the honor of checking out the new Build A Bear Workshop. This new workshop is more interactive and technology driven. Lots of touch screens and motion activated activities, while still keeping the joy and fun of building a plush toy.

This new workshop is built around the idea that children are interacting with their world in brand new ways, keyboards and controllers are becoming dinosaurs, replaced with touchscreen and motion controls. Build A Bear took notice and emphasized the most smile inducing parts of their workshops with new interactive electronic elements. This includes a new bath tub to clean your plush, that pictures a whirlpool effect when the tub is “draining”, virtual ripples in the water being formed around any object placed on the tub, and rubber duckies with little kicking legs .
