Bounce-A- Long Buddies- Review and Contest

Our spring break was spent stuck inside while it rained for nearly a week! Ever try to keep four kids entertained when all they want and need to do is get energy out? Let me tell you now it’s not easy, but I had some help this past week from two really fun and kid approved Bounce-A-Long Buddies!

We reviewed “Moo Moo” which is about 17″ and “Trotter” who is 20″, both are $39.99 and ship deflated of course.

Cute aren’t they? These super fun, kid powered and soft bouncing buds are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The ears for both cow and horse act as an extra grip handle for the kids to easily grasp at. Puts a bounce in a rainy day I’m telling you! I thought my older kids were too big for the bouncing buds but each buddy can support up to 220lbs, so all my kids got to enjoy these. They are rated for ages 3 +

Bouncing race! My five year old and three year old going at it in the hall. Bounce-A-Long Buddies are easy to inflate with any standard [Read more…]

CafeWell

This is a Sponsored post written on behalf of CafeWell for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
CafeWell is one of the newest social networks. The premise of this site is different then most others- health. Instead of promoting itself and getting it’s users to spend more time on their network, users not only build upon their already robust personal networks, but also build up themselves. Anyone is able to join, and it is free to join as well. Through advice, tips, and motivation from Olympic athletes as well as diet and nutrition experts, users have a large support team. There is also a program called Reach for the Peaks, which uses a wireless pedometer to help members keep active. In doing so, users receive regular prizes as well as social acknowledgement.

Now, as with all new things, there is some nervousness about this [Read more…]

Spinach Quiche Recipe

This is a very versatile recipe. You can add pretty much any vegetable you want and it will come out great. My favorite thing to do is use up left over vegetables, this way I’m not wasting any food but we’re also not eating the same old thing. I cook this in a cast iron skillet but you can transfer the mixture into a pie pan or even a baking dish.

Spinach Quiche
Ingredients

2 teaspoons olive oil
1 cup spinach
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped onion
6 egg whites
3 eggs
2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil
1/3 cup shredded cheese of choice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

*if using a pie pan or baking dish grease it

In a skillet heat the oil. Add onions and cook till just see through. Add mushrooms and spinach. Cook till spinach is wilted, it should only be five minutes tops if that at [Read more…]

Easter Adorable from The Children’s Place @thechildrensplc

Why do so few clothing stores make only a couple of options for boys? Nothing really cool or super fab. There are not many stores that cater to both boys AND girls. I love being the mom of a son, but shopping for fun clothes for him is challenging. He has his own taste (the child thinks he is a rock star) and it’s nearly impossible to fins clothing that he likes that I can afford. Hello? Do I look like I can afford boutique shopping? No, no I can’t. But he can look like I do, right? Enter The Children’s Place– home of all sorts of fabulous, at a price even I can afford (oh, and they are SO GOOD about sales- yay! Make sure you sign up for their newsletter and emails if you haven’t yet, you are so missing out if you are not on those lists!)

Yes- the girls clothes are really cute, trendy, and fun. But how often can you REALLY find great, stylish, boys items? Right? You know what I mean, moms, aunts, and grandmas of boys. It’s not easy. And they really make the outfit with the boy in mind- from belts to ties to hats- they know what a trendy boy wants to wear. Of course, you can buy jeans and T-Shirts there as well, but they are just so much more fun to shop at then any other store for me. If you look at my photos from this website, you can see that EASILY more then 70% of Little Man’s clothing comes from The Children’s Place. They keep the kid (and mommy’s wallet!) [Read more…]
