Kohl’s Wink Of Pink Spring Line

After having my son, I (much more quickly then I thought I would have) lost my style.  I went from having fun shopping and picking out my outfits, shoes, and accessories to just grabbing my track pants and t-shirts and going.  Dude- they are totally clean, what’s wrong with that?  Right?  Yeah, right.  Well, I don’t feel as good as I used to, for one.  This year, I am trying to get my body and my style back, and trying to look more like ME and less like…well, like a schlump.

I was asked to be a Kohl’s Fashion Ambassador-for the next 6 weeks, I will be bringing you weekly posts about Kohls, their new line of St. Berth’s inspired fashion from Peter Som, videos, and amazing giveaways for you as well.  We can learn to bring our sexy back together, and for less then you would think.  I am all about making one piece work in multiple ways, and making style easy.  I’m not an over-primper by any means, so this will be fun for me.

The first thing I was asked to share with you was some fun pink, this season’s hottest color according to the trendsetters at Kohl’s.   I shopped around a bit, and there was plenty of pink to choose from, from tops, to bottoms, to coats, shoes, bags, scarves, jewelry- you name it, they have it in pink.

I ended up with this pink top, and since it is sheer, it came paired with a pink tank underneath.  I wore it this past week to the premier of the Captain America, The Winter Soldier movie and to meet the cast and crew, including Chris Evans (AKA Captian America) and Anthony Mackie (The Falcon).  I paired it with a black and white striped skirt (also from Kohl’s) with black side panels that I just loved, and was comfortable enough to wear all day long.

Next week I will being showing you the new Peter Som collection, which is adorable for travel.  It will be available in stores in April.   In a few weeks, I will be attending an event where I will get to meet him and see the entire new collection, so stay tuned for that as well.
