Isotoner Gloves- SmarTouch for your iPhones and Pads- review and C0NTEST

What to do in cold weather when you need to send that text with your touch screen phone? Go without the text or shiver yourself to an incomprehensible mess of spelling mistakes and punctuation finalized with a push of the cancel button. Wouldn’t it be nice if a company who made gloves, possibly Isotoner, made gloves that worked on touch screens? How about making them really warm, functional and practical?
All these things can be included in one pair of gloves and I have them. Ha ha! (It’s OK- you can, too! LOL)

They are the new smarTouch

Moshi Monsters- for your cute monsters!

Moshi Monsters are the newest monsters to hit the scene. As with most fads in the US it started overseas. First it was an social networking game in the UK where as many as 1 in 3 children between the ages of 7 and 12 play the game. In 2011 Mind Candy started releasing lines of plush, collectible figures, board games, video games, and even jewelry. It really is astounding how much Moshi monster fun you can get.

We like Moshi Monsters because of their unique yet cuddly demeanor. With their big eyes and monster outlook they aren’t scary but definitely are cuddly and friendly. They make perfect plush toys. We had the pleasure of reviewing Furi. He is furry happy monster feeling [Read more…]

Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Flower bulbs. The under appreciated cheat sheet of gardening. How else could beutiful flowers like Gerber daisies and Tulips grow year after year? Well The answer is bulbs of course, with a little hole and a bury in the fall/early winter your yard could look absolutely gorgeous every spring. visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more about these wonderful plants.

Lets start with at the beginning. What should you be planting? Check out Curbside Chaos . At the bottom of the page there is a good beginning, the garden guru. The guru will help figure out what to plant when depending on your location. First pick your country, then location, then type of bulb you want to grow, and finally follow the guide on how [Read more…]

John Deere Roll and Go Flashlight- W!N Yours Here!

The new John Deere product line from Learning Curve is rolling into stores! A fun new item for campouts or just fun around the house is the John Deere Roll and Go Flashlight. Shaped like a John Deere tractor–and featuring free-rolling wheels–the Roll ‘n Go Flashlight offers real light and features tractor sounds when the light is triggered. Auto shut-off features saves batteries! Requires three AAA batteries, included
My son really enjoys playing with this, and it will be fun for summer camping. The rolling flashlight makes it like a REAL car for him, so of course it is challenging to make him turn the flashlight OFF, lol. It will also be fun on Halloween and other dark occasions, like those night time borrowing sugar from the neighbors with mommy, haha.
With Little Man thinking he is a farmer, this is a big hit. He also likes to make the tractor visit his animals down on the farm, but the best farmer we have- besides little, of course? Micky Mouse. Don’t ask.
You can pick one up at Target and Toys R Us for $12.99, or you can win one here!

Dealing with Debt after Christmas

Ah, November and December: the two months of the year (back to back, naturally) where we are
encouraged to eat hearty, shop ‘til we drop (for others!), and travel extensively to see friends and
family. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year … which means that January and the months
following the holidays are, to put it simply, not. So after the presents have been opened with care, the
tinsel has been taken down and the tree thrown out on the corner for the garbage men to collect, how
do you deal with post-Christmas debt? Here are a few tips to get you started:

Take a breath. The damage probably isn’t as bad as you think … and even if it is, there are still ways to
deal with the after Christmas carnage. You’ll have to total up all your bills in order to begin fixing your
finances (though, in the future, planning a holiday budget and then sticking to it will help you once the
holidays are over). Gather up the credit card bills or your statements and add it all up. Subtract any
money that you can afford to help pay for your spanking new debt, which will give you an idea of how
much you’ll need to pay it off.

Freeze! You’ll only make things worse if you keep spending after the holidays. This means that you’ll
have to stop using your credit card until you’ve paid off the debt: stick to your cash supplies, checks, or
use [Read more…]
