More Money Saving Ideas- With #Coupons

The following is a guest post by Outside the Box Mom:

In the first week of this series, we discussed goals when using coupons. During the second week, we covered some common reasons why people don’t use coupons. Last week, I told you how to overcome your #1 obstacle in using coupons. Today’s post is an overview of the types of coupons available and where you can get them.

Coupon Types

  2. Manufacturer’s Coupons – Issued by product manufacturers. Can be redeemed at any retail outlet that accepts coupons.

5 Great Entertainment Ideas for a Child’s Birthday Party

Every parent wants to make their child’s special day the best one yet, but you don’t have to mimic MTV
guilty-pleasure show My Super Sweet Sixteen in order to do it. Most kids don’t need a crazy, over-the-
top display in order to enjoy a birthday party. There are plenty of ways to entertain your children and
their friends that don’t include renting a club, hiring an A-list band, and making a grand entrance via
stretch hummer or helicopter. Here are just a few forms of entertainment that kids of all ages are sure
to love.

1. A trip to the theme park. Whether you live near a theme park (or several) or you’re making a
long trip to visit a specific locale (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, perhaps?), this is one
birthday that your kids are sure to remember. It can be a pretty big expense, however, so you
may need to limit the birthday boy or girl to just a couple of friends (instead of a gaggle); this
will also relieve you of the burden of constant headcounts and hand-holding. But after a day of
exciting rides, photos with costumed characters, and sticky treats your child surely won’t mind
that he missed out on a room full of classmates.

2. Laser tag. For active kids, there’s nothing more fun than strapping on some molded gear and
gunning for their friends with laser-pointing weaponry. Some parents might find this sort of
sport questionable, but kids are guaranteed to have a blast playing the updated, electronic
version [Read more…]

Kermit the Frog coloring sheet- Halloween/El Dia de los Muertos

El Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead), a Mexican celebration, is a day to celebrate, remember and prepare special foods in honor of those who have departed. On this day in Mexico, the streets near the cemeteries are filled with decorations of papel picado , flowers, candy calaveras (skeletons and skulls), and parades.
It is believed that the spirit of the dead visit their families on October 31 and leave on November 2.
In order to celebrate, the families make altars and place ofrendas (offerings) of food such as pan de muertos baked in shapes of skulls and figures, candles, incense, yellow marigolds known as cempazuchitl (also spelled zempasuchil) and most importantly a photo of the departed soul is placed [Read more…]

Beauty Goes Back to Basics
Trinity of Youth Introduces Lactic Acid-Based BrilliantFx Body Serum to Combat Dry, Cracked Skin

www.trinityofyouth.com – Retail price $39.99

Introducing BrilliantFx Body Serum
BrilliantFx contains a high percentage of lactic acid at an effective pH and incorporates this key ingredient in a formula that is unlike any anti-aging body product on the market today. “After noticing a void in the market for an effective anti-aging body treatment and potent moisturizer for dry, cracked or aging skin, we embarked on our mission to create this revolutionary body serum,” explains Diane Zokle, co-founder of Trinity of Youth. “By using naturally occurring medicinal agents that have been used for thousands of years, we can now offer our unique mixture that both alleviates dry, cracked skin and improves the appearance of aging skin on the body.”
In addition to lactic acid, BrilliantFx Body Serum is specially formulated with the powerful herbal ingredient arnica montana commonly known as wolf’s bane or leopard’s bane, a European flowering plant containing an active secondary plant metabolite sesquiterpene lactones, which acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. Flavanoids and essential oils theoretically act with the sesquiterpene lactones in Arnica montana to induce its therapeutic effects.
The third distinctive key ingredient in the BrilliantFx Body Serum is vitamin E. In terms of skin health and skin care, vitamin E benefits are numerous. In fact, skin care products that contain vitamin e have become an essential part of healthy skin care. Because of its antioxidant activity, vitamin e is vital in protecting skin cells from ultra violet light, pollution, drugs, and other elements that produce cell damaging free radicals. The vitamin e benefits for healthy skin care also include its ability to regulate vitamin a in the body, which itself is important for healthy skin. It helps skin look younger by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Also, free radicals are believed to play an important role in skin aging and therefore the antioxidant activity is quite valuable for this skin problem.
BrilliantFx Body Serum is the first exfoliating and moisturizing body serum to introduce a skin-healing mixture of ingredients all in one bottle—lactic acid, Arnica montana, and vitamin E.
