“Big Hero 6” is the 54th feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Disney veteran Don Hall helmed 2011’s “Winnie the Pooh” and has earned screenplay and/or story credits on Disney features, including “Meet the Robinsons,” “Tarzan” and “The Princess and the Frog.” Chris Williams directed the 2008 feature “Bolt,” as well as the short “Glago’s Guest.” Williams was a key member of the “Mulan” story team, and was nominated for an Annie Award for outstanding individual achievement for writing in an animated feature presentation for his work on “The Emperor’s New Groove.”

Toy Story 4 Plans Revealed

Nearly two decades after Pixar Animation Studios created the world’s first computer-animated feature film with “Toy Story,” it revealed plans for Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” an adventure that returns audiences to the world of the studio’s signature characters.
John Lasseter, director of the original “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2,” will direct the film, which opens a new chapter in the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the “Toy Story” gang. The story was dreamt up by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich, the storytellers who have been the driving force behind all three “Toy Story” films.

(Oct. 20, 2014) Walt Disney Animation Studios revealed plans today for “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated comedy-adventure about a spirited teenager on an impossible mission to fulfill her ancestors’ quest. In theaters in late 2016, the film is directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Aladdin”).

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. My son and I recently saw the new Disney movie, Big Hero 6. We both really enjoyed this movie, it will be one both adult and kids will like. It was one of the cuter movies I have seen in a while, if a bit sad at times. The story revolves around a boy-genius, Hiro, who tragically loses his brother whom he looks up to (after they have already lost their parents- Disney hates in-tact cartoon family units, don’t they?). His brother is a “nerd”, and builds amazing technology at a local university. With some encouragement from his brother and his brother’s friends, Hiro creates a new machine himself and earns a place in the same school. Unfourtunatly, this is where the trouble starts. His brother is lost, as is the school, but his brother’s invention, the robot-nurse Baymax, and his school friends are there to help Hiro figure it all out.
