I am a huge fan of hair bows. I must admit that my girls almost always have a hairbow in their hair, as I’m sure you might have noticed by now. I was so excited to be able to try out some new hairbows from Via Cacao.

We are currently traveling in Europe right now, but most of you ( I should hope all of you!) know that we are usually traveling somewhere. Even when we are home, we are very active, whether it’s heading into the city for the day, heading out to the park, or to hit the beach this summer, we are usually on the go. Days spent just running daily chores and activities can sometimes seem the busiest of all. One of our favorite things to keep with us while we travel are Balance Bars.

My son, age 5, especially loves the mini-bars, which are just the right size for him and are much better then handing him something out of a vending machine or a bag of chips or something along those lines. Balance Bars make this easy because not only are the healthy, but also are the perfect size to bring along with you wherever you may go.They are also are full of protein and 23 vitamins and minerals, while still having a variety of flavors, sizes, and types. My daughters are both huge fans of music. My oldest is at the age that she absolutely loves to sing along with all of the songs out there and my youngest loves to shout and dance. I was so excited to receive the Kidz Bop Party Hits cd.

I am always a big ‘ole sucker for items that are personalized. I must say that you absolutely can’t go wrong with any of the Name Puzzle Stools that Damhorst Toys has to offer. I received the Large Name Puzzle Stool and have been completely impressed.

About Damhorst Toys:

The Damhorst Toys company is currently owned by Kris Damhorst and his sister Megin Cassimatis. Their
parents, Don and Carol Damhorst, started making unique handmade wooden puzzles in 1971 for them as children. They observed how much those puzzles taught them perception, problem solving and patience. It was great for them to see how these toys gave them such a great sense of accomplishment.

Soon, many friends started asking for items to be made for them. A little while later, they started selling their toys and puzzles in St.Louis specialty shops. In the early 70’s, Don and Carol began exhibiting at Art & Craft fairs throughout the country, meeting other craftspeople and future customers.

In February of 1998, they moved the business out of their home and to a much larger shop in Hermann, Missouri. In 2004 Megin and Kris took over ownership full time.

Who doesn’t love finding personalized items for your child or that special person in their life? I was lucky enough to be able to work with Zoey’s Attic on an awesome Sibling Shirt Set.

About Zoey’s Attic:

Zoey’s Attic officially launched in November 2006 by creator and owner , Erin Delanty. She got the inspiration shortly after having her first child. She had the problem finding out of the ordinary newborn baby tees as well as had friends that were having a hard time finding unique big brother/big sister gear.

Erin has a background as a graphic designer, as well as a web developer. She decided to use that background to design her own line of products.

The initial idea of the store was to create a web-based shop where new parents and parents-to-be could involve all members of the family in exciting “baby news” by offering a variety of pregnancy or baby announcements and hard-to-find big brother/sister tees.

Where did the name come from?
