Smart phones are becoming more and more powerful with each new release.  But power is not enough, a new smart phone has to have something special going for it.  Something to really pull you in and say ‘wow’.  Today we are looking at a new smart phone that does just that, the LG G4.  The G4 is the newest in a long line of killer LG phones.

This phone at its core is a speed demon. Some of its specs are below:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 1.8GHz processor
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system
  • 4G speed
  • Wi-Fi
  • 5.5″ FHD IPS Touch Screen

There are a few stand outs with this phone.  The first is the design, you get a very minimalistic face to the phone because of its back button.  There is a button on the back of the phone near where the camera lens, that is how you turn the phone on and off.  Took me a second.  The phone itself sports leather, metallic, and ceramic back covers to give the phone a more refined finished look.  It also features a curved ergonomic design to fit the palm of your hand perfectly.  Also a big deal is it has upgradable memory up to 2TB with a microSD card and also a replaceable 3,000 mAh battery.

Secondly the display is an impressive Quad HD resolution with 538 PPI.  The display itself is a 5.5inch IPS Quantum Display which sports a 25% brighter display so the screen can be seen in various lighting conditions and well as a 50% improvement in contrast.

Last but not least is the camera. The camera saves images as RAW for the highest quality image.  The camera itself features a  f/1.8 aperture for low light situations.  A manual mode lets photo enthusiasts of any level have a high level of control over their photos.  There are 15 settings with over 135 options to tinker with.  The 16 MP rear facing camera and 8MP front facing camera take wonderful quality pictures.  The Laser Auto Focus and Optical Image Stabilization are both improved and make for easy picture taking and sharp focused images.

The LG G4 is available for pre-order now, and if you act quickly there is a guaranteed $100 Best Buy® Gift Card when you purchase the LG G4.  Offer valid LG G4 Release Date-6/13/15

Could you live without your Smartphone?

If Deloitte’s recent study is anything to go by, no, you couldn’t live without your Smartphone. According to The Journal, the research revealed that about one in six of us are looking at our phones more than 50 times a day.

For many of us, living without our phones and not having constant access to the internet is impossible to imagine. We spend so much time using them to check emails, update statuses, post photos and message our friends – it’s safe to say many of us need to undergo a digital detox. So are you addicted? Here are five signs that you are:

It feels like you have lost a friend when you’re without it

If you happen to lose or break your phone, it’s the worst thing in the world. You feel like you’ve lost your best friend and therefore the only way to stay in touch with the online world is to log on to your bulky home computer that takes 15 minutes to load. If you realise you’ve left it at home when you’re half way to work, you’re likely to be the sort who will turn around and deal with the consequences of being late. If you accidentally break your phone, luckily LoveFone will be there for you.

In the ever expanding cell phone market it can be difficult sometimes to find the right phone for you.  Each seem to be able to do so much and fit in the palm of your hand.  Sprint has one such phone which specializes in music.  This phone is the HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon Edition.  This phone’s most unique features all center around making your music sound better and discovering more of it while also being a stellar smart phone.

Sprint has been giving its clients a constantly evolving choice in cell phones.  One of their most recent the HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon Edition is no different.  The device runs Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) and has a blazing fast 2.3 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon Processor.  Both of which make this the phone to have to run all those Android Apps everyone is always suggesting.  Audio is where this phone really kicks in.  Most noticeably when listening to a personal mp3 file on this device then on any other.  The sound is astounding, even when the files are compressed.  With Clari-fi technology your music files are restored in real time to their original sound, even the bits lost to compression  Not only does your music sound great but so does Spotify.  With Sprint’s Sound Session, now a catalog of nearly 20 million songs is are your finger tips.
