Disclosure- This post about the new Peter Som line for Kohl’s is sponsored.  I participated in an Ambassador program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received Kohl’s gift cards and sample pieces to facilitate my posts and as a thank you for participating.  All opinions are my own and honest.

Spring is here, and with it comes the promise of warm weather and getting to (finally) put the horrible winter coats and clunky, awful snow boots away.  Like much of the country (and Canada), we have had a terrible winter, exceptionally cold and snowy, and I am ready for pretty colors, light fabrics, and open toed sandals.

Recently, I headed over to Kohl’s for some Spring shopping.  I picked out two dresses that I could use for a few different occasions.  Kohl’s is a great place to find dresses for women.

scooby and kohls 037Everything here is from Apt 9.   I thought this would be a nice, easy to wear outfit for spring, good for going out to dinner, a show, or a night on the town.  The coin necklace in silver and gold paired with the larger coin bracelet was fun, and I love the gold metallic flat.

pic9Pair it with a silver clutch, and you are good to go.  I love this outfit, easy, breezy, light, and fun.

Here is two more ways to wear this cute Apt. 9 dress;

Take a tri-colored, metallic faux pearl necklace (also Apt. 9) and add an adorable white blazer for some brightness.  Yes, it’s Apt. 9, I apparently had a one track mind.  Lose the flats, and try some strappy Lauren Conrad heel sandals or walk tall in these nude Candies. Either way, you need a bag, and I liked this one (which was on sale for $45 at the time).

scooby and kohls 043 I also really liked this outfit. Can you guess who made most of it? LOL. You got it. 🙂  The dress, cutout wedge shoes, and necklace are Apt. 9, the belt is by Chaps, and so is the clutch.  This would be such a fun Spring or Summer outfit.

pic7I really liked the white jacket, and know that we all have one in our wardrobe (or should!) so used that to pair up with this cute black dress as well.

pic4I used the same Apt. 9 gold flats and Lauren Conrad heels, as well as the same white jacket from the first dress.  I just swapped out some of the jewelry and accessories (a gold cuff, some metallic bangles, a bright floral necklace, and a white and silver infinity scarf) and made a few different outfits.

These dresses are really versatile, and were easy to mix and match with the same basic pieces, all available at Kohls.  Happy sales to you  🙂
