Protect Your Kids From MRSA

Protect Your Active Kids from MRSA

With fall sports in full swing, equipment cleanliness and item-sharing on and off the field may get overlooked between carpools, homework and bedtime. But, skin infections like MRSA, a potentially life threatening antibiotic resistant Staph infection, are the cause of 56 percent of all infectious disease outbreaks in competitive sports in the U.S.

It’s important that as parents and coaches we do our part to help prevent the spread of MRSA. You can begin by getting involved in the Equip them Well program through three simple steps – collect, disinfect, donate.

That really says it all- can’t say it better myself!
Here is a short video you can watch

It’s Friday night….

Kids sleeping? Mine too!
So, you know how I am always saying that we need to take time out for us, and remember the “me” in Mommy”? We also need to remember the significant other in our lives….and make some special time just for them. Just the two of you, to be alone.

Maybe it’s time. Time to plan a “date”, just for the two of you. Get a sitter, call grandma, whoever. Go out to a nice dinner that DOES NOT involve a dancing mouse or a clown or balloons, or sippy [Read more…]

Eden Fantasys

This is a post from EdenFantasys- a site for you couples out there when you need a “special” night out (or in!),  have a babysitter, and want to have “something special”.  I have a review of a fun product to follow- don’t worry- I’ll keep it PG, LOL…nothing that will offend anyone!
This is from a new author they are working with.  They have prizes and a fun interactive session- so I thought some of you may like to know about it!

Welcome Author and Editor, D.L. King, to the Community Interview!

http://www.edenfantasys.com/interviews/d-l-king-smut-writer-102810/
King’s path to writer has not been straight or narrow. She’s achieved both an MFA in Photography and a Masters in Education and works in neither field. She’s been a Girl Scout, a chemical analyst, a teacher, a legal secretary and an administrator. Not until about ten years ago, did she sit down at the computer and begin writing a novel — “for no apparent reason.”

Since then, King had published two novels and a few dozen short stories, and edited two adult anthologies. She’s published and edited  http://www.eroticarevealed.com/ a website dedicated to reviewing adult writing and maintains her own blog http://dlkingerotica.blogspot.com/ When one of her anthologies, The Sweetest Kiss, was selected as a featured title for the October 2010 Naked Reader Book Club, we immediately wanted to know more about the woman behind this wickedly titillating collection of vampire adult literature – and we’re thrilled she’s agreed to join us!

Do you have questions for D.L.? This is your time to interview her!

Ask as many questions as you’d like!
And there are prizes!

D.L. will be giving away awesome prizes for her three favorite questions! We’ll be announcing the winners on this thread, on November 10th.

The prizes are…

1st Prize: A copy of D.L.’s Book, The Sweetest Kiss and a $50 Eden gift card!

2nd Prize: : A copy of D.L.’s Book, The Sweetest Kiss and a $25 Eden gift card!

3rd Prize: : A copy of D.L.’s Book, The Sweetest Kiss!

The interview is open for questions from today (October 28th ) – November 3rd.
