Peanut Butter M and M Cookies

These cookies have no flour, and they do tend to cook flatter than most cookies but my kids adore them! They are excellent to drop into milk for an afternoon snack. I’m going to make more this summer and make them into ice cream sandwiches won’t that be a treat!

Komodo Dragon Cake

100_2363100_2360100_2361First- let me say that I am not one of those people that can just “whip something up”, nor am I a fantabulous baker. This took me a LONG time to do, haha. Not perfect, but hey! (it tasted good, so shhhhh on the non-perfection, lol)

Second- I don’t like fondant. It’s gross. I made icing and covered it with green sugar and dyed green coconut, and it turned out pretty well I think, for a non-master-baker like myself.

What I Used

Two nine-inch round cakes. Cakes made from scratch will be denser and stronger than a cake mix- just be forewarned that the time you save using a mix will be spent cursing during the frosting crumb coat.

Baking in pj’s! It’s all good!

The child friendly kit comes with cupcake baking cups, a kid friendly whisk and really fun easy recipes that any child would enjoy. We made the All American Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies, which we handed out for holiday parties and friends. My oldest daughter read the directions while my middle daughter helped dumped all the ingredients in. It’s so important to have the kids help in the kitchen, they learn a lot and baking is a great fun experience to share with them at any age. Even my youngest who is three helped us out. These are my two girls rolling the cookies in sugar and setting on the pan.
