‘Tis the season to go swimsuit shopping. I myself have been planning a little spring vacation and knew that I needed a new swimsuit to start my vacation. I happen to live in an area that doesn’t truly have a great shopping variety, so I often find myself shopping online. I was very excited to receive my new swimsuit from Hapari.

LUV Shoes? Check Out This Giveaway

On the set of the TV show “The Middle” in my LUV shoes- and catching a flight in just a few hours, which made the on and off easy. Not a perfect match to the shirt, but what can you do in a pinch? Haha.

Shoes You Were Born To Love

I love shoes- I think that might not be a secret. My husband is certainly aware. For me, the shoes make or break the outfit, and I adore my latest pair from Born Shoes. They are not only super cute, but so comfortable (I swear) you can wear them all day long without getting sore feet or a blister. I have worn them 4 times since getting them a few weeks ago (it’s still winter weather here, but I have been on a few trips to warm-weather locations!) and and not one time did my feet hurt afterward, and every time I wore them I got compliments.

Peter Som for Kohl’s – Fashion Inspired by Travel

With all the travel that I do, it’s always nice to have something fun, light, and breezy to wear. The new Peter Som collection coming soon to Kohl’s stores and online is perfect for summer days and island lounging.

Peter Som designed a line of clothes for Kohl’s DesigNation inspired by St. Barth’s islands. I guess he likes to travel, too.

The middle outfit and the swatch to the left of it are Peter Som from New York Fashion week. The other items are some pinks and peaches that I thought would match his collection, especially considering the pink trend of the season.

I received a few samples of the almost available in stores clothes. They feel silky and soft to the touch, and I’m sure they would be fun to wear.

Kohl’s Wink Of Pink Spring Line

After having my son, I (much more quickly then I thought I would have) lost my style. I went from having fun shopping and picking out my outfits, shoes, and accessories to just grabbing my track pants and t-shirts and going. Dude- they are totally clean, what’s wrong with that? Right? Yeah, right. Well, I don’t feel as good as I used to, for one. This year, I am trying to get my body and my style back, and trying to look more like ME and less like…well, like a schlump.

I was asked to be a Kohl’s Fashion Ambassador-for the next 6 weeks, I will be bringing you weekly posts about Kohls, their new line of St. Berth’s inspired fashion from Peter Som, videos, and amazing giveaways for you as well. We can learn to bring our sexy back together, and for less then you would think. I am all about making one piece work in multiple ways, and making style easy. Prom is a big deal. In your child’s life, there are a few big days for them and prom is one of them. Whether you went or not there is no reason to keep them from enjoying their day. Either boy or girl underclassmen or senior will be excited for this party of their high school career. For some, this is the last hurrah of high school before taking on more responsibility and self-reliance in college or beyond. What are some current dresses that are hot for prom you may ask? Well first of all talk to your kids. Since she will be the one wearing the dress it makes the most sense to start there.
