To my dog. Who I like better then just about anyone on the planet. He’s been sick a while, and the cancer is spreading.
Saying goodbye to my contestant friend, someone who is always there for me, who always listens, never talks back, and eats whatever I put in from of him. Who never says he hates me, or slams doors, and who sits when I tell him to. Who wipes his paws and cleans his plate, and is always good for a hug and a cuddle.

I’m still working on changing my winter loathing attitude; I

I do find much reprieve in the Christmas season and the

When looking for a new pair for myself I came across Bennetts Boots, they are a specialty
boot boutique that offers a solution for women with larger calves. I immediately
thought of my big sister, who is a lean muscle machine…she is as beautiful as
beautiful gets. She dresses to the nine and loves boots probably more than I
do.

The problem is that because of her muscular build knee high
boots or any over the calf boot is very uncomfortable for her. Having been on
the bodacious end of the zipper I can truly empathize with this type of
wardrobe quandary …it just plain ol’ stink.

I am a little weird (this you knew) about my measurements.
They are more like really bad guesstimates, so when it comes to boots I am afraid
to shop without actually trying them on. Because my guesses lead to more
questions than I have answers I simply sent an email to the people of Bennetts Boots, who talked me through
the entire process…was easy pleasy.

Stockpiling: How to do it the right way
If you only buy when the prices are at their lowest, you will always save the most money. Add a coupon, and you are really winning.
Get started
Make a list of what you buy most often.
Keep in mind items that can be stored for several weeks or months.
Consider where you have room to store these items.
Create a plan
Check the sales fliers for items on sale and use coupons.
Make room in your budget to stock up.
Plan meals around items you have on hand.
Build it up
Buy what’s on sale, marked down, and has a coupon.
Refer to your price book to know the best prices.
Buy enough to last 12 weeks.
Keep it fresh
Write the expiration dates on packages where you can see them.
Store the oldest items in the back and the newest items in front.
Mark it on your grocery list when you’re getting low / before you run out.
Get organized
Keep like items together (baking, canned, sauces, snacks).
Make sure you can view the product’s label and expiration date.
