Delicious Brownie Dessert

Who doesn’t love a yummy ooey gooey chocolate dessert on a hot summer day? I am a huge fan of anything chocolate and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this amazing dessert. I have made a few variations of this dessert a few times this summer, but I think that this variation is my absolute favorite. Get a big glass of milk ready for yourself as you prepare this dessert!

Here’s what you need:

9 x 13 brownie mix
8oz. cream cheese
1 Cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
8 0z. heavy whipping cream
butterfinger for crushed topping

(I so forgot to put the cream cheese in the picture)

Make Brownies as directed on the box
Let brownies cool completely
While brownies are cooling mix together all ingredients until they are well blended.
Spread the mixture onto the pan of brownies
Crush up the butterfingers and then sprinkle on the top of the mixture and brownies
Put brownies in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving.

My girls really enjoyed crushing up the butterfingers together!

I would say that these brownies are absolutely amazing and my two little helpers would most definitely agree. I love a cool dessert, especially in the summer. I have made these for a few barbecues and summer outings that we have had and I will tell you that I always have to leave the recipe with them when I leave because they are just truly that good.

If you wanted to use a different candy topping heath or even Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups would be a great topping for this amazing dessert.

With two young girls I must tell you that I have had my share of middle of the night sheet changes. Nothing is worst than not getting to your kid in time when they have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. BSensible has made that problem much easier for all parents.

I have been completely impressed with the BSensible sheets that we were able to do a review on. Luckily my girls are (fingers crossed) past the bed wetting stage, but I feel so much better knowing that the mattresses are safe and protected under those great sheets. Literally the day that I put the sheets on the bed, my daughter spilled her bottle of water all over the bed so were able to truthfully see the sheets at work. Nothing got on my mattress and it was quick and easy for us to clean up.

My Thoughts:

I was a huge fan of both of the items that I was able to review. My daughter absolutely loves her shirt and can’t wait to wear her new shirt on her first day of Kindergarten. It is going to hold up and last all year long for sure, which is great for this big girl.

I could not love my tumbler anymore. I am a big fan of sparkle and am ready to start out my new school year with the perfect cup. I always take a cup of water with me everyday and I am happy to have a new cup that is adorable as well as a great size to keep me hydrated as I go about my day.

When they see me get out one of the craft totes they get excited to pick out what project that they are going to make. A few of the projects they have definitely needed my help for, but I enjoy doing things with them so that definitely isn’t a problem for me.

In addition to all the projects we have made and the convenience of having everything together in one spot, it’s not the only use that I have found for the Craft totes. The Totes make wonderful gifts for birthday parties for kids.

Tickled Pink Adora Doll- A must have baby

My girls are definitely girlie girls. We love to play with babies. Anytime that we are leaving the house to go anywhere or do anything each of my girls have to pick out a baby to bring with them. My daughters love playing with their Tickled Pink Toddler. They take turns great and she is always one of the babies that we bring along with us. I can’t wait for their birthdays to come up and get them an additional Toddlertime Doll to add to their collection.

Must Have Kidz Bop 29 CD

As I am sure that many of you know I am an absolute huge fan of the Kidz Bop cds. We listen to a great deal of music in our family and I love letting my kids listen to the popular music and knowing that it is appropriate for them. I must say that the Kidz Bop 29 cd did not disappoint in anyway.

Great Craft to Do With Kids

I absolutely love to do crafts with my girls. I am constantly on the look out to try and find new fun things for us to be able to do together. I was so excited when a dear friend of mine mentioned UV Paper. I had truthfully never heard of UV paper before so I was incredibly excited to get my hands on some to give it a try. I found this Sunprint Kit on Amazon and was very impressed.

Here’s what you need:

Sunprint Paper
Acrylic Sheet
Cardboard
A sink w/ running water or a tub full of water
Fun and Interesting objects to print

How To:

Arrange your objects on a piece of Sunprint paper (blue side up & on top of a piece of cardboard) out of the reach of the sun.
Place the acrylic pressing sheet on top to flatten and hold your items to the Sunprint paper.
Take your Sunprint outside and lay it in direct sunlight for 2-5 minutes.
Rinse your Sunprint in water. Watch the white turn into blue and the blue paper turn to white.
Lay your Sunprint on an absorbent surface and allow it to dry.

Important Tip:

*I would highly recommend you do this when the sun is directly overhead (around noon)–Shadows from the sun not being directly overhead will transfer onto the paper as well.

Living in the midwest, we are currently beginning wheat harvest. It’s a fun and busy time of year for our family. With wheat harvest in full action and Father’s Day tomorrow I thought that this would be a great gift for my husband and father in law from my girls. We headed out to the wheat field and cut a handful of wheat. We brought it back and got right to work. I can’t wait for my husband to see it in the morning as well as his dad. The girls were very proud and how exciting to use our wheat to create a lasting memory.

This was so much fun! I can’t wait to do many more projects with UV paper in the future. The possibilities truly are endless!!

Tiggly Words- Great Word and Letter games for Kids

My Thoughts:

I am an absolutely huge fan of all the Tiggly toys. My daughters love the shapes and the math just as much as they love the words. I have greatly enjoyed watching them play with their letters and words as they are having fun and learning. My youngest is a huge fan of the Doctor App, and my oldest likes things about each of the apps.

I would recommend Tiggly to anyone out there. These apps and toys are incredible. They get your child learning and enjoying themselves all at the same time. Kids love to play with tablets and I like to know that they are playing educational games.

I promise that you will not be disappointed in anyway. The apps are fun, I have found myself get carried away playing them with the girls for much longer than I have intended to do.

Note- this is for iPad only- it says it is compatible with other “leading android” devices, but it is not (tried on 5 different kinds, no luck on any of them).
