FunBites ‘Cube It!’ Review & Giveaway

Fun Bites Cube It

Having both a 1 year old and a 3 year old, I am always cutting something up to make someone happy. I must admit that it does take a lot time to get it all cut up. I have found one of the greats products available. Fun Bites cuts your food into bite size shapes quick and easily.

About Fun Bites:

Fun Bites was created by Bobbie Rhoads. Her and her husband realized that at meal times they would spend so much time cutting food into small shapes. They thought that it would be much easier if they had a product that could just press down into the food and bite size pieces would come out.

FunBites works on many different types of food. It works with meat, cheese, hamburgers, fruit, pancakes, fish, and the list could go on and on.

Fun Bites comes in 2 different options right now. You can get Cube It!, or you can even try Luv it!

Sandra Lee’s Worlds Largest Bake Sale #WorldsLargestBakeSale

NYC grand central stationRecently, my kiddo and I had the pleasure of being invited to Sandra Lee’s World’s Largest Bake Sale And by largest they weren’t kidding. This huge bake sale took place at the Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Station in New York City. Upon arriving at Grand Central Station, visitors are greeted by one of the most grandiose buildings in public transportation history. This was the first time for Little Man and he was struck by awe with the gorgeous vaulting ceilings filled with constellations. An interesting tidbit of information is the constellations in the sky depicted are backwards. There are a few schools of thought as to why this is, the most popular are this is the view of God from about the constellations common of Medieval paintings, two is it was a mistake made by the artists who transposed the image.

baked goodsThe Bake Sale itself was run to benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign and the Food Bank for New York. Some of the stars involved in the bake sale were: Martha Stewart, Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri, Dylan Lauren, Buddy Valastro, Wendy Williams, and Ty Pennington. markets; Cancun has two famous markets called Mercado 23 and Mercado 28,
situated near the beach.

Did you know that corn is a major staple in Mexico, and is much more prevalent
than rice or wheat? Corn forms the basis for numerous Mexican dishes, and you’ll
probably be familiar with its most common form: tortillas. Another pretty basic element
of Mexican cooking is sauces. Most meals rarely come without some sort of delicious
sauce, like salsa or mole.

Not only is Mexican cuisine fun to prepare with little ones, it’s also a good way to
encourage your kids to eat their vegetables, especially when you include guacamole

Meet the Suadero Tacos and learn why you want to try this Mexican food

Suadero Tacos are very famous in Mexico, especially in the center and south zones, and even when I live in the north of Mexico, I knew about them because my friend was born in Mexico City. Suadero tacos are combined with onion, cilantro, spicy sauce and lemon, the overall presentation of the dish is very attractive and a single bite is everything that is required in order to fall in love with this delicious meal.

What is Suadero?

Suadero

Suadero

Suadero is not famous in the United States, but this cut of beef comes from the breast of the cow, which is the brisket, some places in the US cook the brisket and then call it Suadero, but actually they are not the same thing; even when both are beefy, I can tell you that when Suadero is cocked right it tastes very, very good, and the Suadero tacos can become an addiction (I say this because I saw it for almost two years) if you find the right chef. Unlike the brisket, Suadero is hard to chew, so it is critical to chop it in very little pieces so you can taste its flavor completely. The chopping process is typically done over a tree trunk, and it is by combining all these flavors and techniques that suadero tacos are full of flavor.

How are the Suadero Tacos prepared?

I’m not providing a recipe here but a few tips of how suadero is prepared. The best suadero is always marinated overnight using orange juice, salt, lemon, and pepper among other ingredients. [Read more…]
