There are many addictive items in life. These come in many different forms, most of which can destroy a person body adn soul. But there is one addictive substance which never lasts long in our house, delicious snacks. Delicious snacks are usualy crunchy and either salty or sweet. One of the most recent cases of, “oh my I think i ate the whole box.” Have been CheeseSticks by John Wm Macy. These delightful snacks are crunchy cheesey or sweet treats in the form of triested sticks or bite size portions. both of which seem to disappear soon after the box is opened. These treats come in three forms and many flavors.

Great Snacks for the Whole Family

The first is the original form: CheeseSticks. These started out with original in 1985 but are now available in a variety of flavors including Cheddar and Scallion, Garlic Romano, Dijon Swiss and Melting Parmesan. All have a wonderful real cheese flavor which you can smell and taste. When twisted with the sourdough these snacks are unique in their simple yet robust flavors. All flavors are good and it is very difficult to picka favorite although as of now we lean toward Cheddar Scallion.

Seattle’s Best Coffee

A good cup of coffee makes the whole day start well. Waking up to a pot of brewing coffee has to be one of the best ways of waking up. Coffee in our house is an odd story. We started out as casual drinkers, meaning if it’s there we will have it. This is usually at family functions like dinners and such, or if someone else wants coffee. But this slowly changed into something more. Now coffee is made every day, and at least a cup each. Coffee in our house can last a long time or if it is good, a very very short time. Dad usually enjoys a dark full flavored roast, black and sweet, but no milk (he likes it hot and bitter, just like Mom, lol). Mom enjoys a sweeter approach to things, unlike in the rest of life (light and sweet, like Dad!). Mom also gets wicked migraines, and the caffeine helps take the edge off. True, this won’t work for everyone, and sometimes caffeine is the kiss of death for migraine sufferers, but for me? Lifesaver. We both are quite different with what we enjoy, though we both like the odd brew every so often and like trying something new. Luckily enough we were recently introduced to Seattle’s Best Coffee.

Pokemon Toys by TOMY

Pokemon-mania is ramping up once again across the globe and to celebrate we are going to highlight a few of our favorite Poke-toys. We are looking at few gems from the Pokemon Black and White collection by TOMY, including the Pokedex Trainer Kit, plush Pikachu, and the small figure packs.

First up is the Pokedex Trainer kit. This product is great for your little trainer. It includes the finger-less glove, just like Ash. A Pokeball with belt clip so you are always ready for a battle, a two inch figure for mentioned Pokeball and the icing on the cake a Pokedex. This Pokedex carries small info cards which come with the two inch figures, and sport a moving Pokemon flicker animation, stats and a bright illustration of a Pokemon. The Pokedex also sports a card shuffler and slide open feature. All together this kit is great fun for little ones, all you need is a hat like Ash and you pretty much have a full on Ash Ketchum costume as well.

Great Halloween Costumes for Dogs

Brutus is a very important member of our family. We have had him since my husband and I got married. He may be a pain at times, but we would all be completely lost without him. Every important holiday and event that we go through, so does our dog. Halloween should not be an exception. We were very eager to try out one of the Halloween Costumes so that Brutus could celebrate the holiday with our girls.
