Eddie Bauer Boys Winter Coat

Cold weather is officially upon us and it is time to break out the winter gear such as boots, heavy socks, gloves and warm coats. This year I will have one less worry about keeping my son bundled up and toasty as he has a fantastic parka that is wind and waterproof and is fully seam sealed for exceptional winter weather protection. The Eddie Bauer Boys’ WeatherEdge® Superior Down Parka is made with 550 fill Premium European Goose Down, it features a detachable hood and faux fur ruff and WeatherEdge ® technology to keep him as snug and warm as possible, no matter what the weather is like.

The Boys’ WeatherEdge® Superior Down Parka has 5 exterior pockets and 4 internal pockets to offer my son plenty of room to transport all of his gear like gloves, a hat, a scarf, small toys and even an MP3 player. My New Favorite Sweater

As the weather turns cold, my thoughts drift to toasty things like soups and stews, warm baths, and fabulous sweaters. While I want to be warm, I do not want to be restricted by a big coat. This would be a problem if I didn’t have an alternative to a jacket that is comfortable, stylish and warm. Travel In Style- Pack Light With Kohl’s

As most of you know, I travel often. As airlines have gotten stingier and more impossible with baggage (they are now even making it next to impossible to take both “allowable” pieces with you as carry on), you want to make what you take with you count. That’s why I love garments that transition easily, wash well, and don’t wrinkle. Yes, that’s a lot to ask of an article of clothing, but not really. I expect the same from my 6 year old 🙂

You don’t need to shop at a fancy store or buy expensive travel gear to get clothes that wear well when you travel (or when you are home, for that matter). Just head to your local Kohl’s.

You can find great deals for the whole family in one place, not to mention you can coordinate a whole outfit that travels well for less then the cost of one dress from other retailers. For example, this entire outfit, shoes, bracelet, and dress, cost less then $100. Yes, totally read that right. By the way- please forgive the photos- they were taken by my 6 year old, who did his very best. We were traveling alone, so there was no one else to take them, LOL. I also included some photos of the items that the store provided, so you can see them in another light as well 🙂

Shopping for Kids at Kohl’s

When I shop for my son, I prefer to shop in person for his shoes. I do about 50/50 shopping for him online and in stores, depending on where the sales are and where I can find what he needs. One of my favorite places to shop is Kohl’s, which is good for both online and in store shopping.

Kids Sneakers

My son just had a growth spurt- of course, right after we had gone back to school shopping. I kid you not. So, we headed off to our local Kohl’s for some shopping. He really needed new sneakers, so that was the first stop.There were tons to choose from, lots of styles, colors, and options. He wanted to go with velcro, but I want him to learn to tie his shoes, so we found some with laces instead.

Karina Dresses Make You Look Good

Being top heavy, dresses are sometimes hard for me to find and fit into. My chest is always my first consideration, and if there is a zipper or buttons involved, that complicated matters quite a bit. Not that I am currently a slender woman, but whether at my slimmest or largest, when you have a chest as large as mine, no one makes clothes to fit the top, middle, and bottom all at the same size and you end up in a bag or at the tailor.

Karina Dresses are made in Brooklyn with microfiber blend fabric which is imported. Each Dress has four way stretch, is machine washable and come in limited edition solids and prints. The selection of dresses in constantly changing because the dresses are produced in small batches right in their Brooklyn facility, which means you will never (likely) run into someone in the same dress, and you get a dress made in the USA.
