Who doesn’t absolutely love smelling nice 🙂 ? I know that even on drab days smelling good makes me happy. I was very happy to try out some awesome new fragrances from Masik Collegiate Fragrances.

About Masik Collegiate Fragrances:

Masik Collegiate Fragrances was founded by CEO, Katie Masik, in 2008. A Chemical Engineering graduate from Bucknell University, she spent the early part of her career in the energy industry. However, an entrepreneur at heart, she grew restless after several years and was ready for a change.

Katie has always loved perfume. She said that even when she was little, she would spend a great deal of time smelling perfumes in the stores. She wanted to take a different angle and somehow create more individualized fragrances that would celebrate a part of everyone. One day Katie was able to realize exactly what her goal was- to create different signature scent men’s and women’s fragrances for universities – a celebration of college and a unique way for alumni and fans to show school spirit. She really wanted the scents to be special and inspired by elements such as school colors, campus style, flowers and trees, traditions and locations. She also wanted the schools themselves to be involved in the process.

As I’m sure that many of you have probably noticed by now I am all about the dresses and froo froo of having girls :). My girls love to dress up and have lots of fun. I was so excited to receive these adorable two dresses from K. Leigh’s Kreations, they have made a great addition to their wardrobes.

It is absolutely unreal to me all the awesome companies that there are to find out there. Having little girls my eyes have become even more open than they were before. Peppercorn Kids is one of those companies that everyone needs to know about. Their products truly are awesome and they have such neat products that I haven’t really seen any other place.

Now that the big one, Mother’s Day is over its time to get ready for the next holiday. That’ s right none other than National Donut Day occurs on June 6 2014. To celebrate this wonderful holiday be sure to grab some donuts and chow down. Everyone celebrates Donut day differently, some dress up in costumes others make special meals celebrating the versatility of the round treat. Luckily for us Entenmann’ s is celebrating too and with some help from their friends in the Salvation Army.

To celebrate Doughnut Day Entenmann’ s and the Salvation Army are rolling out a brand new donut for us all. The new flavor is Red Velvet. Entenmann’s has decided Donut Day is in a great time of year, spring, to bring around a new velvety smooth cake surrounded by a creme cheese icing. With birds chirping and brightly colored flowers blooming why not enjoy it with a Red Velvet donut?

Life is Good Coffee Review and Giveaway

In the morning, before that first cup of coffee I am sure many do not agree that “Life is Good”. But after that first roasty whiff wafts out of the coffee maker, you know today is going to be ok. With some coffees the smell and taste will bring you out of your funk better then others. We are going to look at two of these coffees. S’more to Love and Light Hearted, both of which are made by Life is Good Coffee. These brews are eye opening good and one of the best ways to start your day.

Recently, at a Life is Good tasting event at Grand Central Station (that some of you might remember from my Facebook, twitter, and instagram feed) I was able to try quite a few of the flavors. I do have to say that they were very good, and I liked them a lot. I am not a picky coffee drinker, but I would for sure buy these. I loved the dark roasts and the flavored coffees best.

Jump Into Spring with the New Reebok Skyscape

Spring has sprung, and many of us are taking the time to refresh our wardrobes (and having fun doing so). It’s always fun to get new shoes as well- nothing to make me feel pretty like a cute pair of shoes. That includes sneakers. I have a pair that I wear to the gym, and a pair I use for daily use. I love the new Reebok Skyscape for daily wear, they are very comfortable, lightweight, and even machine washable. (Right? How great is that.)

Like many of you, I do a lot of running around in my daily life. I also do a lot of walking in my traveling, and these shoes are both cute to wear and comfortable for the whole day. I don’t usually wear them with socks, and so far, no issues with blisters or rubbing on the heels or toes or anything like that. I got them in the bright pink color, because I have a “thing” with pink sneakers. It started out with a pair my son bought me for a present, now pretty much all my sneakers are pink. Strange how things happen, ay? But I love the color, and that the laces are the same color. I also love the black and pink ones- if my store had carried those, I might have gotten them.

My First Month On Nutrisystem

Week four on Nutrisystem, and I lost 2 more pounds. It’s not last week’s 6 pounds, but hey, it’s a weight loss, so I will take it! What’s funny is, I actually made it to the gym more then I did the week before and I feel better- but didn’t lose as much weight- go figure. I will take what I can get, and keep on working hard.

I will confess that we had a barbeque on Mother’s Day and I ate that for dinner instead of Nutrisystem, but I was careful with what I ate (I didn’t eat the hamburger buns like a weirdo, no mayo on anything, and things like that) so I did my best to eat better even though it wasn’t a pre-packaged meal. Hey, life isn’t pre-packaged, we all have to learn how to eat well as well as follow the diet- and I think I did both well this week. Now, if only the scale concurred, LOL.
