Pokemon have been around since 1996, with each game building upon the familiar role playing game elements of leveling up and exploring a vast territory while weaving a grand story line. It also pairs with the fun of collecting cute little critters who sometimes end up being your most kick butt vine entangled turtle. This main concept is seen throughout the new Pokemon X and Pokemon Y but now with more Pokemon, more varied battle, new mega evolution and tons more features. All of which make this the definitive Pokemon game for the 3DS/2DS game.
The game starts out with the player picking a character to play as, boy or girl, then soon after you pick your starter Pokemon. Your choices are Chespin, a grass type, Fennekin, a fire type, Froakie, a water type. The choice is difficult but Chespin was our pick. Little Man likes to pick the cutest. But at least he gave it a tough name, iloveu. We couldn’t fit I Love You Pokemon.

Ouya Gaming System
There is a spot in your living room right now that is one of the most sought after spots in America. No, its not that spot on the couch where Sheldon sits or Dad’s recliner. It’s the game console, hooked to your TV. With the holiday season upon us and the forthcoming releases of two power house systems, this spot is happening.
In our house, there are more video consoles then there are TV’s. We have a problem with video games. Video games are a fun distraction from everyday life that are creative and engaging. One of the inhibiting factors with video games can be cost. Video game consoles have been creeping up in cost over the years as have the games themselves. With this in mind we are taking a look at the new kid on the block- Ouya.
Ouya started life as a Kick starter campaign, and quickly became fully funded and then some, becoming one of the most funded projects. Ouya is an android, 4.1 jelly bean, based micro console. The hardware itself is quite small, measuring only 2.95 and cubic in shape, it is about the size of half a pound of butter, but with way less calories. Under the hood the console sports a Quad-core 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 MP Core and 1 GB of RAM. The hardware does its job well and because of Ouya’s open source thought process has great potential for upgrades and do it yourself add-ons.

Peppa Pig – Fun New Toys
Disclosure: The below was provided to me to help facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and honest. I am disclosing this in accordance to FTC Guidelines. Please see “Disclose” tab for more information.
My son loves Peppa Pig. The TV show is one of his favorites, and he can tune in on Nick Jr. daily. When the first Peppa Pig toys came out, he was psyched. Nothing is better then playing with your favorite characters and acting out the mischief they get into (and making up some of your own). Truth be told, as much as he likes Peppa, he likes Daddy Pig more- he snorts WAY louder. He also likes her baby brother George, because he throws toys, spaghetti, and hides from Peppa (which really peeves her). So, the boys have it, according to my son.
Peppa is snarky, which amuses me. She has quite an attitude for a little piglet, which I guess is fitting. The toys looks just like the characters on the show, and many of them have moving parts or talk as well. This new line of toys revolve around bedtime and bathtime, two of my son’s least favorite times of the day. However, the former being my very most favorite 🙂

Wonder Forge Games Review #GiftGuide
As my daughters get older, I find myself beginning to instill in her my love of playing games with the family! When we were kids, (and even now) my favorite part about family get togethers was all the games that we used to play. I am so glad to share with you some wonderful kids games .
Wonder Forge has over 50 games that are not only fun, but they also help boost self-esteem and help build on many of the skills that parents are working on with their children already! For my review, I was sent Dazzling Princess Game, Enchanted Cupcake Party Game, Never Land Challenge Game, and Fun Machine. All of these games are for 3 and up, as well as with two or more players.
Dazzling Princess Game is a great game for your young girls! You have to collect sparkling jewels to help decorate your bracelet, ring, and tiara.
This game helps work on:

Aurora- Have a Cute and Cuddly Christmas! #GiftGuide
A few months ago, my son, husband, and I read a neat book- it’s called “Raggedy Andy Stories”. I wasn’t sure how Little would like it- it was, after all, about a doll- but he really loved the book. It was a large book, with lots of different stories in it, the hero being Raggedy Andy.
“All the original stories are here, as Raggedy Andy arrives in the mail at Marcella’s father’s office, displays his cheery smile, and is eagerly reunited with his sister, Raggedy Ann. After a warm welcome from the other dolls, Raggedy Andy adds to their fun with a dance, a pillow fight, and a taffy pull. His merry escapades frequently show his generosity in helping others, as he bravely ventures into the gutter to find the penny dolls, “cures” the French doll, and encourages the wooden horse. Other stories also include Raggedy Andy and the other dolls’ encounters [Read more…]
Ezy Roller – the award winning ride on toy #GiftGuide
We here at Have Sippy love different toys and play things. Be them plush, interesting, or just a bit odd- all are welcome on our site. (Hey, who knows until you try it, right?) Today we present the Ezy Roller. This device is meant for just about anyone who has the ability to shimmy from side to side, suggested age 3 on through to adult. The minimum suggested height being 3’3″. The Ezy Roller is not a scooter, a bike, or a luge, but a different form of transportation completely. The Roller moves based on the principle of cambering motion, which is moving left to right in an action/reaction manner to move forward or backward, similar to a snake’s motion. I would suggest watching a video of how it works to best explain it in a visual manner.
The Ezy Roller was a mixed bag for Little Man. Upon first trying it he loved it, because it was new and shiny with an different look to it. Then he didn’t like it too much because it wouldn’t move forward easily, in a way expected. But after actually trying to move it left to right with his feet in the way described, he loved it. He was able to move quickly [Read more…]
