Disclosure- The below is a paid post but all opinions are my own.

savings

This coming April is National Kids Savings Month, and to celebrate, Boiling Springs Savings Bank would like to bring to our attention the Bucks Program. The Bucks Program was developed to bring savings into children’s minds at an early age. By providing children a special savings account, Boiling Springs is bringing quality banking to little customers.

Some of the best parts of the Youth Savings Account are:

-A savings account designed especially for young depositors
-Account available to youths under the age of 18
-Statement savings account with statements mailed quarterly to the account holder
-Interest earned monthly on all account balances
-Minimum opening deposit of $1.00
-$10 bonus is deposited into account if account is opened with $10 or more

Kids age 12 and under must open a Custodial Account. At age 18, the account converts to a regular Statement Savings Account. Service fees may apply to the regular Statement Savings Account and fees could reduce earnings.

These delicious, chewy bites offer big taste and are made with authentic, European-sourced Greek yogurt and other high-quality ingredients. Other flavors include almond, pretzel and granola. My son loved them, and so did I.

More About the Products

It started with a simple discovery – people all over the world were mixing Greek yogurt with nutritious foods like granola and fruit to create delicious, protein-packed combinations. So we took a strained Greek yogurt coating – blended it with roasted nuts, granola and fruit – and transformed it into a convenient, great-tasting snack.

Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D

mm

The Nintendo classic Zelda franchise is full of great games which are the reason Zelda games are classics.  One of the most popular is Majora ‘s Mask, which was originally released for the Nintendo 64.  The newest version of this game Legend of Zelda: Majora ’s Mask 3D, is a reworked, updated, cleaned up, and enhanced version of the original.

Majora’s Mask follows the story of Link as he tries to keep the moon from falling from the sky leading to the destruction of Termina.  The twist is that you only have 3 days to complete this epic quest.  In this 3 day period, Link will have to explore dungeons, solve puzzles, and fight gigantic bosses (of course).

Throughout the game there is a reoccurring theme of masks, and masks are one of the main collectables in the game.  There are 20 in total, each of which gives Link a new power or ability, like the ability to transform into a Deku, Goron, or Zora.

Desaki – Dining out in the Poconos

Read the full post on This Girl Travels!

While on a recent trip to the beautiful Poconos in the Pennsylvania mountains, we stopped at a restuaunt somewhat unique to the area.  While most of the restaurants we saw in the area were more “American” or had a deli or diner feel, Desaki was not only great cuisine, but also a fun family dining experience.

poconosThe restaurant itself is beautiful, and definitely stands out from others. When you enter, you are able to check your coats and see what fun you can have while waiting for your table.  (Yes, you can call ahead for seating.)  Since we were there on a “family fun night”, there was a balloon artist as well as a face painter on site for the kids.  My son was thrilled with his “Darth Vader” balloon, complete with light saber.

Many of the kids also got their faces painted. My son chose not to, because he was going to eat and was convinced he would somehow get paint in his food and in his mouth.  He’s just not big into face painting, what can I say.  The other kids loved it, and there was quite a queue waiting for a turn.

20150207_181923There are also XBoxes and TVs for the kids while they wait- or if they finish first and get antsy.  I am pro everyone eating together, but I know some people don’t feel the same way, and let the kids bring their tablets to the tables and whatnot anyway. It’s a good option instead of tablets or phones at the table.  I would let my son use it while we waited, for sure.
