Shopping season is in full swing. When shopping for others, you need to focus on what they like. When you know your husband is going to try to buy you a toaster or something really, really lame (lol) it is also important to drop those all important hints as to what you yourself like. Or send pictures. And links. And tweets….The season is all about giving, of course- not trying to take away from that! But why not let your significant other (or children or siblings or whoever is the crazy buyer- and there is always one in the group, haha) get you something you’ll actually enjoy rather than a new frying pan or orange and mauve sweater? BAILEY BERRY BB STARS kids shoes are really cute, lightweight (almost no weight, haha) summer shoes for kids ages 1-8 (average). Since we have gotten these in pretty cold weather, we have yet to test them other then to say that they fit. They are cute, and the straps can either go over the heel or on top of the shoe. Shopping at Cookies Kids @CookiesKids with #Cbias

We always enjoy shopping at Cookies Kids. You can shop both online and in stores (if you are local to the NYC area) and enjoy great prices, great style, and an easy shopping experience. My son just started Kindergarten, and needless to say- his wardrobe needed some sprucing up.

My little guy has a uniform he needs to wear to school, and Cookies Kids specializes in kids school uniforms. They have tons of colors, styles, and brands available- our favorite is French Toast. He loves his new pants and sweater by French Toast that we got at Cookies Kids- in fact, we bought almost his entire wardrobe for back-to-school at Cookies Kids. While we were there, we were able to try out the new AvaKids app- with an iPad available to use right in the store- that helps you choose the right size and items for your children, even as they grow.

AlvaKids is a service for children’s apparel sizing recommendations. The
app/widget allows users to create an account on the mobile application or through using
the widget on retailers’ websites. Once the account has been created, the user can
make a profile for their children. These profiles hold basic measurement information
as well as some background information about the child. All of this data is used by
the AlvaKids proprietary algorithm to create a personalized sizing recommendation.
Using the account credentials the profiles can be accessed through the mobile
application and the online widget.

It is that time of year again- Fashion Week! It is so much fun seeing all the new styles and watching what the designers will come up with next. I had the pleasure of attending the SearsStyle Blogger Brunch, and got up close and personal with the latest styles from Sears.

Some people don’t think about Sears when it comes to shopping for clothes, but they are missing out. You can find tons of great brands and sizes, from infant, to kids, Jr.s, Womens, Mens, and Plus Size all in one place. Easy peasy one stop shopping. Then you can head on over to the other departments, and get what you need for your home. Love the convenience factor.

My Little Man and I hopped on over to the brunch just after his Kindergarten orientation. He was one of 3 dudes in the room, LOL.

Mondetta Pitch Jacket- Review and Give-it-Away (and discount offer)

Please forgive this short review- I just got it today, and I have not had much time with it! I can tell you that I like the weight of the jacket, and I think it will be comfortable in the fall and spring. It fits true to size, and the colors are bold and bright. I have not yet washed it, so please stay tuned and I will let you know how it turns out after the wash, as well 🙂 You can choose from several different countries to show who you are rooting for, or where you stem from.

Mouth Man Hoodies Review(plus Mouth Man Hoodies Coupon)

Have you seen these nifty sweatshirts? They look like a regular patterned sweatshirt, then when you cross your arms in front of you, a big mouth and face appears on a variety of animals and characters. They are really cool looking, and should be seen “in action”. These are made of recycled materials and biodegradable ink. This is the perfect light sweatshirt for a spring day at the park, trying to bite other people as a shark.
Daddy really liked the Simpsons ones and also the sock monkey for adults. Sock monkey and T-Rex are probably my favorites- but Little liked the killer whale best.

We ordered the shirt in a size 6, and it is very snug, as you can see here. I would order up at least 2 sizes for a good fit. The shirt is very thin, making it a good lightweight sweatshirt, perfect for spring and summer cool nights. Shaun White Boys Board Shorts

My son , like his mother, really enjoys the beach, pools, and water parks. He was not always the biggest fan of deeper water (that is, water above his waist) but now he is a real champ. We spent most of our summer in water, one way or another. A fun pair of trunks is a must have for the summer and for this traveling kid 🙂

Recently, he was sent a fun new pair of board shorts. They are a little big- it can be so hard to figure out his size lately! LOL- but they will be perfect next year. Made for boys between the ages of 4 and 18, they can be found exclusively at Target.
