As I’m sure that many of you have probably noticed by now I am all about the dresses and froo froo of having girls :). My girls love to dress up and have lots of fun. I was so excited to receive these adorable two dresses from K. Leigh’s Kreations, they have made a great addition to their wardrobes.

Kacey absolutely loves coordinating in everything that she does. She likes for things to look good together without being too matchy. She does offer a variety of outfits, she also specializes in groups of children’s attire that coordinate for family photos, special events, or just any day of the year.

Jump Into Spring with the New Reebok Skyscape

Spring has sprung, and many of us are taking the time to refresh our wardrobes (and having fun doing so). It’s always fun to get new shoes as well- nothing to make me feel pretty like a cute pair of shoes. That includes sneakers. I have a pair that I wear to the gym, and a pair I use for daily use. I love the new Reebok Skyscape for daily wear, they are very comfortable, lightweight, and even machine washable. (Right? How great is that.)

Like many of you, I do a lot of running around in my daily life. I also do a lot of walking in my traveling, and these shoes are both cute to wear and comfortable for the whole day. I don’t usually wear them with socks, and so far, no issues with blisters or rubbing on the heels or toes or anything like that. I got them in the bright pink color, because I have a “thing” with pink sneakers. It started out with a pair my son bought me for a present, now pretty much all my sneakers are pink. Strange how things happen, ay? But I love the color, and that the laces are the same color. I also love the black and pink ones- if my store had carried those, I might have gotten them.

I am definitely a bag person. When I was a child I had more bags then I probably even had clothes. Looking for the perfect place to shop for Mom? Or maybe your wife- since some of the kids are too small to shop on their own, dad’s or partners will have to help out a little. One of my favorite stores to shop at has always been Kohl’s- while I will shop anywhere that strikes my fancy, there are only a handful of stores that I consider myself a loyal shopper of, and Kohl’s is one of them. Check out my closet (and those of my husband and son as well) and my housewares if you’d like to verify, haha. I love Kohl’s because they have everything for everyone in your family, as well as housewares, outdoor supplies and furniture, even travel gear.

They also have awesome sales, you can get Kohl’s cash (free money to spend in the store just for making purchases) to use, and shopping is easy both online and in stores as well. Also, as a bonus, my son often gets to choose a stuffed toy at the end of the register if he’s a good boy the whole trip. Now, I always expect good behavior from the kiddo, but with the high quality and adorable toys and books that Kohl’s offers for just 5$ (and the net profits going to organizations that benefit children) I never mind spending it and letting him have one.

As an avid traveler, I am always in need of a good swimsuit. I will soon be leaving on a cruise, and I am loving the Kohl’s Collection from Peter Som for Design Nation. The items will be perfect to take with me as I travel and visit several islands. Inspired by St. Barths, the clothing will be right at home (and make me feel so as well).

Peter Som For Kohl’s And WIN $100

It is finally spring! The chance to bust out my spring and summer wardrobe is here. I have been admiring the 2014 spring line of several designers, plotting my new additions and I have fallen in love with a few items in Kohl’s Spring Collection from Peter Som for Design Nation. I love that each piece was designed with the confident and elegant woman in mind.

Peter Som’s sketches are no nonsense and can be made into a stunning yet simple dress. I love that he mixes classic lines and feminine colors for a fresh look that reminds me of a sunny carefree day.

I have had my eye on this fit and flare dress. It is elegant, classy and modest. I am a sucker for stripes… if you didn’t catch that already, and I love that I could wear sandals or heels with this dress depending upon the occasion. Yes, I totally bought it at the presale.
