We just watched the cutest DVD- my son is in hog-heaven- called the PAJANIMALS. This is just the cutest thing- and right up his ally (cute, fuzzy stuffed animals that sing and wear pajamas? DONE!)

I thought it would be cute to see what Little Man had to say- he may not be old enough to type, but he has a mouth, and he sure knows how to use it, LOL.

As summer begins its transition into fall and children return to pre-school, kindergarten and other daytime routines, getting young ones back into healthy bedtime habits can be a real challenge. Little Pim – Language Fun For Kids

With school starting up, parents and kids everywhere are looking for that slight edge to bring their kids from middle of the class to top of the class. It is a fact that children who learn foreign languages early in life have a much easier time learning new languages later on in life. With this in mind, we have Little Pim. This cute little panda helps kids learn languages like Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German, English, French, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Hebrew, and Portuguese. Little Pim teaches children not by associated words with translations or drills, but with actions and sounds, so kids don’t have to translate to learn- they just learn.

This way, instead of memorizing one word, they memorize strings of actions, where the words are simply the building blocks to the underlying concepts. Pim is a blast for kids, it is so much fun Little Man actually asks to watch on a regular basis. If it is good enough to be requested instead of assigned, that is pretty good in our house, especially for something educational.

Orangutan Diaries – Saving Our Closest Relatives

Coming Soon to a TV near you- Orangutan Diaries. This 250 minute documentary is broken up into 2 discs. This movie follows a tale from the Borneo Orangutan Foundation. This establishment is a safe haven to orangutans in the Borneo region, nursing hurt or sick orangutans back to full health.

At the time of filming there were 600 orangutans at the foundation. One of the first things you will notice is 600 orangutans are a lot of monkeys. Tick-Tock’s Toy Clock- Learning To Tell Time

Telling time with an analog clock can be one of the more difficult activities your child could learn this year in school. Not only is this difficult for kids, but as kids become adults, they can still have a hard time with this. This is only second to splitting the bill after dinner in difficulty for adults. 😛

Adorable Travel Books For Kids – And Travel With Children Advice

Brandon Rudd, Publisher of the new travel book series for kids – Cooper’s Pack Travel Guides – has some tips and tricks on traveling with your kids- and of course, some cute books as well. Cooper’s Pack has launched four children’s travel books (so far) featuring London, Seattle, New York City and Alaska. Little Man loved checking these out- they are a fun way to introduce kids to new cities, and travel in general.

We always enjoy shopping at Cookies Kids. You can shop both online and in stores (if you are local to the NYC area) and enjoy great prices, great style, and an easy shopping experience. My son just started Kindergarten, and needless to say- his wardrobe needed some sprucing up.

My little guy has a uniform he needs to wear to school, and Cookies Kids specializes in kids school uniforms. They have tons of colors, styles, and brands available- our favorite is French Toast. app/widget allows users to create an account on the mobile application or through using
the widget on retailers’ websites. Once the account has been created, the user can
make a profile for their children. These profiles hold basic measurement information
as well as some background information about the child. All of this data is used by
the AlvaKids proprietary algorithm to create a personalized sizing recommendation.
Using the account credentials the profiles can be accessed through the mobile
application and the online widget.

Totoya iPad case

Ok so what is a Totoya? Other then a misspelling of Toyota. 🙂 It is a cool digital and physical life toy for your kids- and it’s really cute.

This toy has two equally important characteristics. One is the physical fluffy part, it is a big white cute monster which doubles as a tablet case and a plush for kids. The monster is about the size of a small pillow case, or just a bit bigger then an iPad itself. Once inside the Totoya, your iPad is completely enclosed all around by a layer of plush creature, saving it from possible disaster. The stuffing is soft and huggable, giving your iPad a more natural, stuffede-animal feel. This extra softness is especially useful once we get to the digital component of the product, part two- the app.
