At Home Workout- Gorilla Gym

Most of you know this chick is trying to lose a few, and get back into her fighting weight (and body!) While I love my time at the gym, I’m no stranger to home workouts, so Gorilla Gym’s claim that it’s the “the world’s most versatile home gym,” raised a few eyebrows around here. But after living with it for a few weeks, we have to agree.

The basic gym weighs just 8 pounds and takes about a minute to install into any standard-size doorway, where it’s certified to hold up to 300 pounds—without holes or sheetrock-cracking pressure mounts. Prince Lionheart Travel Gear

Having kids can be tough on your vehicle. With sticky fingers and lost snacks, muddy feet and spilled milk, lost toys and cheerios- all will eventually be found (or not) in the cracks and crevices of your vehicle. There are quite a few products available to help cub the ‘kidification’ of your vehicle. Prince Lionheart has two which are particularly effective.

First up we have the back seat organizer. This organizer has pockets, clips, zippers, clasps, and pouches for just about everything. This organizer installs to the back of the front seat with a few simple straps and can be put in, in minutes. The organizer is also easy to remove so when spills do happen, clean up is a breeze. One of the most interesting features of the organizer are the ‘distraction’ pouches. These are opaque pouches on the upper left and right sides of the organizer meant to be grabbed and handed to your little ones to act as a distraction. Traffic with a screaming child in the back can only be tolerated for so long before something must be done and a distraction can be all that is needed sometimes. From a new toy, a snack, or a new book all could work and would fit in this special pocket. Prince Lionheart calls it ‘sanity restore’, and for those who have been in the situation that is definitely the best way to describe it.

Adorable Aurora Stuffed Toys

Looking for soft and snugly? If you are like my son, winter (ok, all times of the year) mean cuddling up with a soft, fluffy stuffed animal. Or 12. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that makes him happier then a new stuffed animal. If I save it until the end of the day, he will even willingly go to bed. It was one of the only things he asked Santa for this year- Stuffed animals, action figures, and Skylanders.

Some adorable stuffies come from Aurora. They have some of his favorites, including the popular “YooHoos” (many of which make funny sounds, speak, or sing when their stomach is pressed) and the new Miyoni, which are available in several sizes. The have such sweet faces, very expressive- even the smallest ones.

As the holidays are winding down and resolutions or goals are made many people find themselves making a goal to lose weight. It’s no wonder considering we eat the most around the holidays. We’re stuffed like turkeys and well, who can help it? Good food is hard to pass up, which makes this 21-Day Tummy diet brought to you by Liz Vaccariello a solid win for anyone needing to jump start their year and make some healthy choices.

Diving into the book right away you are thrown a lot of helpful facts and tips. There’s practical tips everyone would need not just those trying to lose just holiday pounds or more.

Many of the recipes in this book are focused on getting the system working well. If our gut isn’t working the rest of us isn’t doing too good either. So many other plans target just dropping the pounds not the fact that some foods can trigger reacts deep within and cause us even more troubles. I found this to be a major plus in the book.

The recipes were easy to follow as well as easy to make. There’s simplicity in here and true focus which can really help those who suffer from a slow digestive system. This should jump start the gut and get you ready to start feeling better inside and out. I made a lot of sides from the books, salads and some of the dressings which are fresh and tasty.

I was sent a copy of the book, “Great Homemade Soups: A Cook’s Collection” by Paul Gayler in order to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed are my own. This notice is in accordance to the FTC’s requirements for compensation in online advertizing.

One of the things I most enjoy cooking is soups and sauces. It is amazing to me how something so simple can really be amazingly filling and so rich in flavor. I was very happy to review the book, Great Homemade Soups: A Cook’s Collection by Paul Gayler as I am always on the hunt for new ideas when it comes to soups making. My husband has been a great guinea pig over the years at my soup attempts.

When I attended culinary arts school, I excelled at soup making. It was amazingly easy for me and I was a bit surprised that I enjoyed the art of a saucier so much. I have a great respect for any chef that creates works of art through soup making and opened the book to find I was not disappointed.
